How many QBs do the Bucs need? Johnson, King, Matthews, Miller, Simms. Maybe they can pick up a few more in the later rounds. Where there no offensive linemen available at either of their picks? I actually think these are good picks for the future, but if they want to repeat, they need help on the o-line now.
Phil Simms paid them to take Chris so he'd be picked on the first day. Only reasonable explanation....
well think of it this way. you probably only hate the bucs a lot right now b/c they are winning a lot. chris will take care of that, and then you'll be able to root for them. oh and chris, i hear all the nfl teams are better than top 10 college teams. although he doesn't have GD anymore so maybe he won't suck that much.
Actually, I think this is the best fit for Chris...he has a chance to ride the pine and watch for a couple of years. His biggest flaws are his decision making and a propensity to force the ball into bad situations. He should be able to work these out as he advances from 3rd team QB. It is a great move for C. Simms, as he is not ready to play big minutes in the pros. DD
