If it's that easy everyone would do it. The league is about players, you forgot about the "draft the best player in the league" part

The Warriors stole Morey Ball...Rox need to REVAMP their philosophy and we might be witnessing just that as of late. Can't win with Beverly/Ariza taking 23 three pointers and only making 6 last night. Just think about that for 1 minute. 17 possessions they used and wasted bricking 3's impacted the flow of the game both offensively and defensively.

Now take the Warriors version of Morey ball and give them those same 17 possessions and there you have it. I'm only using Bev/Ariza as an example from last night but there are plenty examples we can all find and utilize over the course of all the games played

    These threads man....

There is a reason that the Spurs are the Spurs. And don't start comparing GSW with the Rockets over the entirety of the franchise. Warriors fans have been through more than any poor Rockets fan can imagine. When Captain Jack is your best player... Yeah.

Now if you really want to feel good about the Rockets go look at the history of the Knicks.

The Spurs are the Spurs for a reason and the is reason why what they have cannot be duplicated. If you can't appreciate what Les has tried to give you guys the past twenty or so years then I feel sorry for you.

If we do, does that mean we get to draft Duncan, too?

For me, that statement is like telling an Oiler fan in the '90s, "When will Houston start building a good organization like the Cowboys." Or a Boston fan, "When will Boston start building a good organization like the Yankees."

    Never

The Spurs have foundational players, foundational coach and a Gm who works to keep said foundation solid.

    Look people.

It's a sport. Enjoy it. The Rockets ARE a good organization, they just aren't the best. I understand the frustration. In the end though we watch games because we simply enjoy watching them. So look back at the fun memories and enjoy them. From the WCF trip and even the Mike Jones era. Just enjoy the team.

They are not the best organization but they are very far from being a joke.

When they start choosing players who are hardworking and have character and get rid of these lazy selfish players. They also need a coach who players respect and who is willing to bench anyone if they don't respect the system.

they're 5-10 plays away from being really good in my opinion. Each game it's about those few plays not going there way due to being lazy, missing shots, play calling Morey Ball 3's or whatever. At some point I think they'll figure it out. They got the players right now. In fact, They're loaded even more so now then last year when they made it the WCF being healthier. Time will tell.

The Spurs play a beautiful passing/off-the-ball movement game. Perhaps you watched them last in 2003.

The Spurs and Warriors have a culture. Miami has one. Chicago used to have one. Skiles is developing one in Orlando. Lebron is culture.

I know the Warriors are big on "awareness/mindfulness" as one of their key concepts and everyone buys in, from the FO to the players. And that's the first step, everyone buying in.

    What's the Rockets culture?

Analytics and Assets. Pursuing the 8th seed. Big Booties.

Yeah, there's no culture here, and with that you can rate this organization anything you want, you won't beat the top tier.

this is stupid..it's like asking when Harden will finally start playing like Michael Jordan. Spurs and Warriors are rare occurrences that can't really be copied with a certain plan.

Do you know how many organizations have hired away members of the Spurs coaching staff and FO in an effort to replicate that model?

    Numerous, without great success.

The Hawks have come the closest but they are still nowhere near the Spurs or even the Cavs. Funnily enough, the Rockets have reached the same level of success as them

Fire Morey, or hire a counterpart who actually knows how it feels to put on a pair of sneakers and play an actual game of basketball.
