We got DFS for a discount because he is coming off an injury. Some of ya’ll will complain about anything
yeah, seriously, what is the timeline? how do you have a multi million contract player, out with an injury without a timeline? isn't "out with an injury without a timeline" not any different from out indefinitely? what even is the injury? standard project management of any kind says you gotta have a timeline
Oh my god I am freaking out because I just can’t ever be happy! I am gonna complain about everything! My hair is in fire!
I would have rather signed a guy who is actually available to play. I know, it’s crazy. Complain complain. Pretty sure there would have been some consternation if it was communicated upon his signing that he’d be out for at least half the season. If he comes back fully healthy and helps us win in the playoffs I’ll be glad to be wrong, but that’s far from a certainty. Availability is underrated and there were other good players we could have signed that were actually healthy.
Patience my friends. We don't need DFS right now. We're still blending KD and Josh into the starting lineup, while figuring out what role Capela is going to play. Hopefully Tari's hip contusion is just a 1-2 game absence and he's back in the rotation. As the season wears on, we'll need fresh legs to insert in the rotation and hopefully DFS gives us a lift then.
It’s been explained a thousand times why we couldn’t trade for Quentin Grimes unless it’s as a 1 year rental. Not a wise use of resources.
Wish NBA had a more creative construction where injured players contracts don’t kick in until they are available and you can kind of rent someone - paid for by the league in case the injured player has to be paid - temporarily until the player is available.
How was he a discount? He was the second highest paid free agent to switch teams last offseason, just slightly behind NAW.
I liked that he missed one attempt. When these videos showing nothing but net, it always makes me suspicious if they’re not edited
