When were the Progressives wrong on a moral issue?

    I've arrived a little late to the scene, so I'm going to stay mostly out of this.

    But some of the replies have been out of the boundaries set by the topic. Jamcracker obviously meant "wrong" in a historical sense, so I don't think you can bring up a modern issue that hasn't been resolved yet (like abortion). The jury is still out on that one (in the United States), although in the rest of the world it's pretty much dead (once again in favor of the "progressives").

    Also, liberals are by definition progressive. The terms "Democrat" and "Republican" confuse the issue, as so many people think that Ds are automatically liberal, and Reps conservative. Just not true.

    Actually abortion is an issue where the "progressives" are clearly behind when compared to places like China. They allow infanticide over there--what's taking the progressives over here so long to get with the times?
