When was the moment you realized you hated Luther Head?

This thread drew the new line for fan self-player hating.

Now we'll probably see a lot more of these in the future.

This is also what I would called hating the dead horse. You beat it to death, then you hate on it even more when there is just absolutely nothing else to do with it.

Like when a guy you hate loses his job, you push it even furthur by notifying the whole world the guy is fired.

 

when he made boneheaded plays,,,that really stops me from watching more of "Head things"

 

He is what he is. I don't hate him.

But I sure wish we had packaged him and our pick to move up to draft Brandon Roy...

 

I hate him because he is do very well as a missing guard in the playoffs, both seasons 06-07 and 07-08..

I don't hate him, I really don't but he needs to improve his game and PG skills. He's undersized.

If you "hate" a player, I'd hope it's for reasons beyond poor playoff performances or tattoos. I became "disenchanted" with Luther after his no-show in the playoffs, and gave up on hoping he'd be a key guy for us after the repeat performance last year. I don't mind him being on the roster, especially when he still contributes during the regular season.

Beats the pants off of a malcontent like Mike James. Beats the fool out of a halfwit unprofessional like Stromile Swift.

In fact, I'd even say his struggles annoy me less than a "franchise superstar" self-prescribing weeks off in spite of the recommendations of doctors for a knee that "doesn't feel right" because he blew off rehab and strengthening in the months following the surgery.

Maybe Head's a lost cause. But I'm not going to dwell on it or hate him for it.

I DON'T hate Luther Head. I see him for what he is, and I don't want him to have to play a ton of minutes in the playoffs.

But I DO want him to PLAY. Give him 5-8 minutes to redeem himself against the jazzholes.

 

Nobody on this site has a personal relationship with the guy so when we talk of hate I think we mean hating him in the only way we know him. AS A CRAPPY HOUSTON ROCKETS PLAYER. stop with "I don't hate him as a person" you don't know him as a person!!!!! Realize that you think he is a terrible player and you wish he was off the rockets.

when i realized that we passed on monta ellis and drafter luther head....go check out nbadraft.net and see all the other players we couldve had that year....Luther should not be in the league!!

I voted 07-08 playoffs.

He was actually pretty good at knocking down open jumpers and especially 3s in 06-07. I chalked up his struggles vs. the Jazz in the playoffs that year to jitters.

But his utter suckitude was unbearable last year in the playoffs.

 

him and deron williams are booty buddies and deron williams wouldnt give up his cornhole to luther, even though luther was giving him 'head.' So williams told luther to throw both of the series and gave up his rocky mountain bareback to luther in the offseason.

 

Most of the people here that "hate" Luther Head are the same ones that would run up to him for a autograph and picture.
