Haha. I wish you wouldn't have said it. It's funny when people get their panties in a wad.

Pretty soon this thread will turn into a debate over the definition of the word "hate".

I hate him...if I happen to bump into him in heaven i'll ask "how the hell did you get here....you suuuuck!"

Gee wiz people...he's honestly not bad for a guy 3 players down the depth chart. He only played so much the other night because Tmac, Artest and Barry were down. C'mon...remember San Antonio? Hahaha.

i don't get why people hate luther. i dont' hate the guy. he's just limited in what he can do and we ask him to do too much at times (dude cannot play PG so why let him handle the ball that much at times)? he's a shooter. that's it.

usually he does make his shots at a higher rate than others. but i was really disappointed with luther in 06-07 playoffs. i thought he would come up big b/c he was cold-blooded in the reg. season. i thought he would be our next "clutch" role player.

i still like him now. wish he will do something for us though.

Luther has had 4 years to learn how to dribble and to fix his faults.......I mean learning how to dribble is not really all that difficult.

oh, learning how to shoot fts isn't that hard? shaq, dwight... have all their lives to do it

i'm sure luther is a good ballhandler (spurs game for instance), but he's just not a PG where he dribbles to make plays. he's simply a shooter. that's his role.

What a joke of a thread.

Any Rockets fan would know that Luther Head is one of the team's best spot up 3 point shooters.

2 seconds left, down 2, T-Mac driving the lane, defense collapses, and I'll take Mac kicking it out to Shane OR Head ALL DAY, EVERYDAY, 7 days a week, 2 times on Sunday.

Where Head gets into trouble is when he is asked to handle point duties. EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS.

This is why we signed Barry this year, to let HIM handle backup point duties, along with Brooks.

As long as he's not asked to run point, or faces the Jazz in the playoffs ( ) Luther is actually an asset to this team.

Reasonable contract, and a good long ball shooter.

For me it was just after the 06/07 playoffs. I watched every game and was mad at the whole team til I took a look at the stats and realized that t-mac, yao and battier actually became better during the playoffs but luther and rafer became considerably worse.

I don't hate him. He seems pretty cool. He's just not a very good fit for this team. Or any. Unless he learns how to play point or brings his 3 pt. range to the playoffs...

Other. The very instant the Kings took Francisco Garcia with the pick before the Rockets added another munchkin as they passed on David Lee.
