if so.....about 19 years ago

if not...never

you dont fall for the girls who are just there to strip for you...unless you know them outside the club.

it is a tiny minority that will even see you outside work if they dont already know you...at least in my experience.

He wouldn't tell me, and I would have come over on a weeknight, on an evening when I didn't have to get up early, but my sweetie did, to watch a flick on his 60" display, and a have few whatever's (whatever's covering what I did when I didn't drink much, which is almost all the time these days, my body not liking the alcohol I truly enjoy on occasion) and my buddy being an old friend of my wife's, as well, she didn't mind in the least, as long as I didn't drive home drunk. As a matter of fact, she preferred I spent the night, rather than drive home impaired. Didn't give me the "take a taxi, you chump!" line, even though I could afford to get one. (does that better explain my goofy post in the female body parts thread? My old lady is cool, dudes and dudettes)

So there I am, chillin' and gettin' loaded, looking forward to a long evening of classic flicks, talking about our shared interests, which covers almost anything, grilling some steaks on his Jenn-Air, relaxing, sans kiddos. You know... two old friends of decades standing, being able to say whatever we want without having to worry about the sensibilities of our wives (the ex-wife, in his case), when there's a knock on the door. "Go get it, will ya, Deck?" I saunter over to the door, open it, and there stands a 20-something, absolutely beautiful chick, who I immediately snap is one of his pals from one of the clubs. Come to party with my buddy. And often there were 2 of them, both drop-dead gorgeous. (he likes them in pairs... even if he's "in love" with one of them) Wanting to have FUN. Wanting to drink his single malt, watch the 60", chill, and do whatever the evening led to.

I usually made an excuse to leave after an hour or so. Not always, but almost. Ribbing him about not telling me she, or they, were coming over. He never told me, because I'd stay home if he did. That's how I came to know that the stories he told me about dating these babes, 20+ years younger than he was, were on the level. Some of them were really intelligent. Genuine UT students trying to put themselves through school that liked this crazy b*stard, my buddy. Some of them were not students, of course, but he liked the intelligent ones, who tended to be students doing the dancing gig to put themselves through UT, more common than some would think, seeing as how they could work 3 nights a week, and make a heck of a lot of change. Fun people to hang to with, once you get to know them and move past the fact that they are beautiful and exude sexuality without conscious effort.

Pheromones exist and exert their pull, I can tell you. I can see how you could think you've fallen in love with a girl at a men's club, SWT. Just keep an eye on your wallet. If I had the bread my friend spent in his pursuit of pleasure during that period, much less on the ones he thought he was "in love" with, I could easily buy that Lexus sedan I have my eye on. And I'm not kidding.

My g/f through school is now a stripper. I was shocked, we broke up after school and didn't talk, the way I broke up with her was a straight dick move and I feel bad but it happens, live to learn I guess. My friend ran into her at the grocery store, can't believe she's a stripper but its true, and she is banking on cash while I work hard just trying to get through college

She had alot more potential then to just be a stripper, she was real smart, now she's wasting her intelligence away being a stripper. Somtimes I think I drove her to it, the way I acted when I broke up with her, I wish I had her smarts at the time. o well

I've certainly had my favorites who, if they were there on a given night, would take all my damn money. I knew it was useless to resist.

I've had pretty good luck getting to know them outside the club. I work in psych, so just plain-old talking to people comes rather naturally.

Afet backpacking across Brazil, Colombia, Venazuela, Panama, Costa Rica, and Living in Argentina I realized strip clubs are a giant waste of $. In the afermentioned countires you can take the talent home after 1 dance

i walked out spending probably 2 or 300.... not really all that much, but it was a bachelor party (all fraternity brothers and alumni) so things got out of control pretty fast.... had the entire vip section to ourselves.

this girl was actually a very sweet intelligent student at UTSA (we were in san antonio - all stars, to be exact RMTex ). studying to become a nurse. after dance #4 or 5, i inquired if she would like to join us back to the hotel room, but i knew she wouldn't. she straight told me she knows a lot of girls would, but she isn't one of them.

i correctly assumed she had a boyfriend and asked her what he thought about her being a stripper and all.... said he didn't mind b/c it was paying her way through school, and that that was the only reason she was doing it to begin with.

she had gorgeous fake cans.... absolutely gorgeous.

and then there's the story of the escort who stole $300 from a couple of my fraternity brothers later at the hotel.... they will NEVER live that down.
