    He scored 48.

TMac had several games where he scored 48, 47, and so on and some games he could have gotten 50 if it wasn't a blowout. That was one thing I wish I saw TMac do when he was here. Score 50. Same with Yao. Hopefully Harden has some 50 point performances in him.

T-Mac got to 49 in that game against Dallas I think.

    This was an insane game.

I guess I forgot about that Hakeem game in 96, but the rest of those, I wasn't yet into NBA basketball when those happened... Still, that means it's been over 18 years.

    MAKE IT HAPPEN, HARDEN

People forget how great Elvin Hayes was. I remember the Chaney/Hayes days at UH. They were beating up on everyone.

Actually that game immediately jumped into my mind after seeing this thread, and I really thought he scored 50 or 51 in that game.

Tmac wasn't as great a scorer for the Rockets as people like to think.

Harden scored more PPG in his first season here than TMac did. And TMac dropped off from there.

I take back my comment slightly!

TMac was a great scorer for the Rockets, but Harden is superior.
