What's more surprising? The near fact that two Texas teams that are a #1 seed will lose in the 1st round, or the fact that the Rockets have never been a 1 seed in their history?

I said in another thread, but why is different being an 8th seed that year. everybody played 50 games.
yeah the only asterisks would be that it was a best of 5 series taken from an 8 seed. they played a thrilling series against Miami and Indy, steamrolled through the Hawks, and fought hard trying to force a game 6 against the Spurs with no Ewing. again, it's the only 8 seed in the Finals, EVER
It not really surprising in the West. The difference between 8 and 1 in this conference isn't much. It would be wrong to even call it a real upset.
