First time I saw them play was 2 years ago. They we were playing the lakers but t mac was injured with back spasms  yao was playing though but the rockets were down by about 20 points in the fourth quarter...then the rockets made a big run (without t mac) I think they got within about 2 points but it was a little to late...that's the only game I've been to

1991, I was a wee lad and new Houstonian about the age of 7. Back then my dad knew the Celtic's equipment manager growing up in Boston and going to Camp Millbrook together where the Celts training camp used to be, so he took me to see our newly adopted home team play the by-then washed up Celtics.

I remember distinctly sitting in the Summit watching the game and asking:
"Dad? Who's the best player on the Rockets?"
    "Hakeem Olajuwon, son... Hakeem Olajuwon."

    That's when it all started...

It's too bad the guy isn't still the equipment manager. I don't remember which Celtics I got to meet that night, but I sure would like to rub elbows with the likes of KG, PP and Shuttlesworth these days.

First time was at American Airlines Center (Dallas Mavs). I was living in Oklahoma at the time.

We got there early and I got to see Steve Francis go 1 on 1 with Yao. It was funny and I wish I could have recorded it. Man when they practice every shot they shoot goes in. Even big men can't miss.

During halftime, we ended up moving closer to the action and sat down on the player's wives area. We were so close to the action it was unreal.

Houston ended up losing but that was the first and last time that I had a chance to see the Rockets that included Yao/Steve Francis.

Saturday, November 4, 2006 - We killed the Mavs, One of the guys was kicked out for calling Nowitki a little Eichman - It was somewhat awesome because Dirk was playing good and he kind of went downhill, but it was racist so I dunno.

NeWay we murdered them, and Yao scored like 35 it was sick!

I was at that game. First home game of the season, right?

I think Yao hit a fade away right before the half that brought the house down. He was so far out it was almost a 3.

The first time was when we were in the pajama uniforms and we had Olajuwon and Barkely. I don't remember anything specific, because I was like seven years old at the time. We did win the game though, and I'm pretty sure it was against the Raptors.

My first game was in 2001 when the Rockets played the Detroit Pistons at Toyota Center. Detroit at this time had Jerry Stackhouse and at this time Rockets did not have Yao. Rockets won this game and Francis dropped like 43 points. Mobley had a good game too. Very exciting game for my first game.

Yep complete and utterly shameless plug

If there is anyone from the Rockets I would love you to fly me in for one game, really would be the highlight of my life.

    hahaha
I can dream on I suppose. I still wish to see McGrady play one game in Rockets Red hopefully within the next two years. But with the global credit crisis looks like ill never save enough money.

1981 at the Summit against the Boston Celtics during the regular season. The Rockets were winning at the half, but the Celtics came back to win the game.
