Houston, Texas The ability to score has been one factor that kept Eric Murdock ahead of Lee Mayberry the past two seasons, but Mayberry made a huge offensive statement Wednesday night.

The third-year point guard scored 39 points, but that wasn't enough to keep the Milwaukee Bucks from losing, 119-116, to the defending NBA champion Houston Rockets on Vernon Maxwell's 3-pointer with 1.3 seconds left at the Summit. The Bucks erased all of a 23- point, third-quarter

    Seattle Supersonics vs Houston Rockets

I remember the Rockets got blown out at home, and alot of people in the crowd were saying alot of mean stuff about Steve Francis.

to be perfectly honest I would love to see a game, I watched the rockets all the time at the risk of being fired cause I'm streaming it over the net but I don't care.

I even asked about secondment to Houston or the Texas area for my work.

I will go to the US one day and hopefully Tracy Mcgrady is still playing. He is my favourite player

I thought the Summit was a great place to watch a game back then.

    1967 -68.

They were the San Diego Rockets then before the franchise moved to Houston. Rick Adelman played guard.

See if anybody can trump that!! ;)

I doubt anyone will trump that.

Game 4 of the 89-90 playoffs against the Lakers. We lost, but I made my 'BEAT LA' sign into a paper airplane and threw it down from the cheap seats, hoping it would hit Magic or Divac.

Against the TWolves, I was a freshman in high school, around 91-92, my school had ten dollar uperdeck tix for ten dollars, Dad who isn't a sports fan went with me, just remember how much better the games were on TV sitting that high and that the scoreboard was in the way of the court.

First ever game I remember was a finals game against Boston when Dream got tossed for fighting, had to watch that at a friends cuz like I said Dad isn't a fan.

Feb 77 The Summit vs Knicks. I dont remember the score I just know the rockets won and Rudy T had the most points. I was 8yrs old and from that second on even though I wasnt much of a basketball fan up until then I lived and breathe rockets basketball from that point on.

I wish I could remember when I went when I was really young.

The earliest one I can remember with any level of detail was 12/17/92 (I was 11)

    The Summit
    Spurs 109
    Rockets 121

We had pretty good seats, but we got to move down literally to courtside level because the stadium was relatively empty. I vividly remember seeing David Wood and Sam Mack. Why I remember those 2 players, I have no idea. But I honestly remember thinking "This guy Sam Mack is really good. We should get him." Lo and behold, he became a Rocket a few years later. He just came in for 4 minutes and hit 2 3's.

October 1993, against New York Knicks, the Rockets lost

It was a preseason game that they played here in Mexico City, I had great seats two rows behind the Knicks bench.
I got into basketball, and been a rockets fan 2 or 3 months earlier, so I was glad to see the rockets playing.

I found this about that game:

[[October 24], 1993 Before a sellout crowd of 20,808 at the Mexico City Palacio de los Deportes, the New York Knicks defeated the Houston Rockets 103-93 in a preseason matchup, led by 20 points each from Patrick Ewing and Charles Smith.

It was Compaq Center then. It's blasphemy to refer to that place as The Summit :p
