LMAO! I never read sigs. I'll have to check hers out (um, her signature, that is). edit: oh, I finally caught on by reading the whole fart thread, which killed many of my already scarce brain cells.
Actually, that sounds very sweet and romantic - to tell her you love her and be willing to declare it to the whole world (and the bbs). She should appreciate that. (and, myself, I would have had to have the declaration of love before going around second base... but your mileage may vary...)
Okay, if someone asked this in this thread, then I missed it, but the big question is this one: Will meggoleggo post in this thread?
Let the woman say it first. You now have the upper hand for the length of the relationship. Be careful though, it can easily be lost.
Now the way to really get the upper hand is to take your index finger and your tongue and put them.....
In my experience, saying it over the internet doesn't quite have the same effect of saying it over the phone. Wow, I just thought of something, what you actually had to say it face-to-face. Geez, that would suck.
I must admit, I think I would say it in person first. They must have banged alot already for him to say it here.
oh yeah, Guys... let us never speak of that thread that got locked. keeley is a very, very understanding man, and I am very grateful he locked up that really weird little escapade.
still waiting for Baqui99 to bring his usual advice to this thread... My husband said "I love you" (yes, in person) about a month after we started going out. While that was really sweet, it was about another month before I was ready to say it. I wanted to make sure I meant it. (on the other hand, by this point, I say it because he expects me to. Some guys never say those words; others say those words and not much else... )
See, that's been my holdup so far...I'm just now becoming ready to say it. That's why I started this thread, to see how other people finally got ready to say it. ...that, and I was looking for an easy way to get out of saying it in person
I'd suggest if you are going to give up hand in the relationship, you should at least sack up and do it in person.
Everyone needs to see 'The Tao of Steve'. The Tao of Steve is about relationships with women and how to treat them. It is about being excellent and not being a Stu. According to Dex in this movie, saying I love you is the last thing you should do. So when is the time to say it? Maybe on your 50th wedding anniversery or something. I urge all to see it. It was one of the funniest movies I seen in recent times. Written by a female, but all the jokes seem to be pointed at guys. No female I know likes the movie and all guys I know have. Again, I urge all males to see this one. Tao of Steve.
