Are you implying Lin fans are pretending to be Rockets fan?

Losing Dragic was a bad move, but it's not the end of the world.

just curious, did Dragic penetrate and create for the team a lot last year? i can't comment on Dragic as i haven't watched him much outside of that playoff series in phoenix and he looked like a good scrappy player who made shots that rallied the team. but what Lin does very well is break the defense down by consistently penetrating, thus drawing double/triple teams and finding the open man. so i don't think losing Dragic was a bad move when you are getting Lin who is better at making the team better.

This is almost as bad as what Lin haters spew. You really are going to make people turn on Lin...

lol ppl already turned on him. doesn't make any difference. just like those Knicks fans who bashed him in NY before he even played a single game there, those same people can't enjoy his and NY's success until Lin left and they still bash on him.

Dragic did a masterfull job of creating ofdfense for everyone. He was phenominal at starting the Rockets transition offense and was very good controlling the tempo in the half court sets. Also Dragics dribble penetration defense was at an elite level. I rarely remember him being beat to many times off the dribble.

At this point in time he is the better player out of him and Lin, but who knows both are still improving.H

Jeremy Lin plays like he did last year = Happy

Jeremy Lin sucks this year = Not Happy

    That is all.

Your bias is showing. Per 36, Lin had 19.6 pts, 8.3 assists, 2.11 steals.
Dragic had 15.9 points, 7.2 assists, 1.75 steals. I don't see how you can definitively say Dragic is better when Lin has better overall production across the board.

I see them as very similar players, with Lin having a much higher ceiling due to his age and smaller sample size (ie. there's a much bigger sample of Dragic being mediocre than Dragic being a star).

Dragic is the better playmaker and defender. Both are about the same on offense, but Dragic runs the team a little bit better in terms of decision making. Both are very good players and about in the same ball park but i think Dragic played a little more mature as a PG.Lin will become more mature this season as he runs the team.

But the bias is to expected. Dragic played awesome for the Rockets and they got rid of him for no good reason other than Morey abhorring the player option. In his stead, they replaced him with someone whom the vast majority of fans feel is all hype. Once they see what he can do, and I'll believe he will exceed expectations, they will accept him as the player that those of us who have seen his games know he is. It is what it is. No hard feelings.

My only point of contention are the blind ignorant haters who hate despite what they see. Even during the preseason, I saw a budding floor general who commands tempo, creates shots for his teammates, penetrated with ease, worked hard, wreaked havoc on the defensive end, and was a clear net plus for the team. He leads the league in steals per game and was 4th in assists with low to numbers and a 3-1 win-loss record despite not playing up to his potential. I saw saw him meshing well with Asik and PPat just like in NY and I have full faith that his scoring will come once the regular season starts. The "he couldn't defend my grandmother, can't go left if his life depended on it, he's a turnover machine, he's all hype and he's a bench player" types are ridiculously easily brain washed and can't think on their own or process information that they see with their own two eyes. And they are the ones who bug me.

And I can't see how you can definitely say Lin is completely better than Dragic.

The season hasn't started and when Lin does have a bad game, and he will, cause every player has bad games, you're going to freak out when he gets criticized.

    This is pretty simple.

When the season starts we'll see how Lin plays and not make judgments on how he plays with the Knicks.

Well, at least some of us people will make judgments based on actual HOUSTON ROCKETS games not NEW YORK KNICKS games in the PAST.

Long time Rockets fans are in denial

Dragic was dumped...because the team was being blown up to get Howard or go lottery...
