4 of the 25 are pre-Hubie so that's 21 since he took over. The Rockets have lost 19 road games and the Grizz have a better record over the last 16 games than the Rockets.

If you want to continue thinking the Grizzlies still play in Vancouver, their coach is still Sidney Lowe and align yourself with JamesPosey55..."they are a ****ty" team, then the both of you are in for a rude awakening.

Gater, I'm sorry but what are you even arguing about? What does proving the Grizzlies aren't a ****ty team show?

Yeah, you got me. 4-21 is much better than 4-25. I can't argue with numbers like that. .

They are an improved team, but that improvement shows itself primarily at home, which is very typical of a young team. They still generally play very poorly on the road. Also, they had just made the Miller trade, and were working him in.

I could care less what people say in the paper as far as being a leader, I care about what people do out on the court. You can say that Steve doen't play smart, but you can't say that he doesn't give 100 percent every night. You never see the guy slacking, he's always throwing himself into the fray trying to get to the hole or get tough rebounds. And when the Rockets are down, he's always the one trying to dig deep and scratch them out of it. He worked on his game all summer, so I think it's pretty baseless to call him lazy as well. If you don't like the guy then say you just don't like him. But don't make stuff up - especially when you were so obviously wrong with starting this thread in the first place.

Doesn't it seem like every time you read about Francis during the offseason, it's always about him spending countless hours at Westside working with trainsers and assistant coaches? JR is definately got some other problem against Steve. That or he doesn't really follow the Rockets at all.

I believe he was arrested for suspicion of DUI. He didn't blow. Regardless, that doesn't constitute 'problem drinking'. How many games has he missed in his career due to sickness?

    DCkid -
The long ago origin of my statement had to do with JamesPosey55 referring to Memphis as a "****ty team" and downplaying how well the Rockets (and particularly Moochie) played the Grizz in the last meeting. My point is/was and continues to be the Grizz are not that bad a team. (And by the way, the beat Toronto on the road today and are 11-10 vs the EC).

Anyone expecting the Rockets to dominate them in the future is IMO delusional.

I hope one day we can be better than this. Kings managed to win without any 1 of their players. We need to have a deep team who doesn't depend on 1 or 2 players.
