There are 15 players on the roster currently. Two are out for the season (Yao and Francis) and I think the playoff roster is limited to 13, so there should be no odd man out. Am I missing something?

You can only suit up 12 for a game, so one guy will be in street clothes.

Coach Adelman was raving about Mike Harris in his postgame conference. Said that Mike was really someone they didn't want to cut but was a victim of a numbers game. He likes Mike's ability to rebound, score, play defense at the wing position when TMAC and Shane are off the floor and that is why he will use him in games. Didn't sound like a coach about to cut a player. Maybe it will be Justin Williams.

but if the playoff roster is 13, can't you choose your 12 for each game now? Depending on matchups and injuries at the time..

    Harris looked good tonight.

Justin Williams looked terrible......maybe he'll get cut by this weekend.

Playoff roster is the same as regular season now. That is 12 active, 3 inactive. They'll keep Williams as insurance unless they find another DNP collecting center they like.

Both will be signed for the remainder of the season. As it is the Rockets will have 15 on the roster:

TMac, Scola, Battier, Alston, Deke, Hayes, Brooks, Novak, Landry, Head, Jackson, Yao, Francis, Williams, Harris.

I am sure a team is allowed to have 15 with three being on IA side. I don't how the playoffs work out though.

maybe i am mistaken wasnt harris signed for the rest of the season while williams was a 10 day contract? its easilly williams then after the contract is up unless he gets re-signed, based on his performance tonight i dont know if he will get re-signed for the playoffs. he has atrocious free throw shooting not that he'll be in the game during crucial times to shoot FT but even when giving people a rest an easy layup can easily become 0-2 points quickly instead of a sure two.

Both were signed to 10 day contracts. Feigen did mention the Rockets might lock up Harris if he did well enough. No mention of that for Williams, so he's likely not back next season.

It's just one game...let's give this 2 more chances....they have shown in the past they can be pretty good players....today, they're not showing it.

Williams and Harris will be benched and most likely will be playing junk minutes when Landry comes back!

Yeah, but teams really don't switch up who's inactive on a game by game basis. Since most teams play 8 or 9 man rotations, I suspect that we won't be seeing much of Harris or Williams anyway when Landry comes back.

Hayes is 6-6 from what I know... and Barkley is 6-5 ...

Anyways Bobby Jones might be it

Williams I think. He hasn't ever played for the Rockets, and Harris is better too.
