I've noticed that too. There are so many times JHO took an half open jumper at the top of the key while Yao was right under the basket, sealed his man and asking for the ball.
sooner, it was just a dream i had. a dream where: calvin murphy and bill worrell were rockets commentators rudy t wasnt a scout for the lakers maxwell was bailed out of prison someone also bailed out ralph sampson too horry and cassell would retire as rockets, helping them to their 3 championship turbo is back
I figured you for a goof for suggesting JHow is the root of ALL our problems. But your dream list is so sweet that I'll forgive you.
you guys are too much. I do believe in what tinman is saying in that howard needs less munutes.i would rather have stro trying to dunk it everytime than howard bricking all his shots.
Trading Howard is an old idea that's still a good idea. Problem is TMac getting pissed his "boy" is being traded If we draft someone like Sheldon Williams, that would be a soft and suttle way of telling him we need someone that can rebound, block shots, defend, and have some offensive moves. Swift is nice to have as an athlete and defender that can fly. I'm fine with Howard coming in to play 3rd string at either frontcourt position. BTW, some teams are looking to trade their 1st round pick for veterans (ORL, GSW, BOS, SEA, ATL,NO).
Per earlier poster: "I think that the problems with Juwan's game go beyond stats. 1. He is at a disadvantage athletically with every PF he faces. This hurts us immensely on the defensive end. At least Stro is a shot-blocking presence. 2. He is in love with the 15-18 footer. I have noticed several times that Yao has been near the bucket waiting for a pass and Juwan will take that shot. He is very reluctant to make the extra pass. This kills the offense. I know we need an outside shooting 4 to open up Yao's game but don't make him what he isn't. 3. He can't rebound. We need a rebounding 4. Juwan must go. The problem is his fat contract. We may be enjoying his presence all the way through the 2008-2009 season. To Tinman, I agree with you wholeheartedly about Juwan, but A Juwan-Horry swap was never possible due to Juwan's monster contract." Yeah - we are stuck with Juwan until his contract is complete in '09. I cannot see Les buying out his contract. Van Gundy likes him now-all passive and ineffective hustle. If JVG gets mad he will Mo Taylor his *ss and trade him for useles garbage like Moochie and Vin Baker. __________________
If we trade Juwon, will Tinman follow? Wasn't Juwon on the team when we toughed it out with Dallas? Yeah, he kept us down by not playing in the playoffs.
I don¹t know where I¹m going But, I sure know where I¹ve been Hanging on the promises In songs of yesterday An¹ I¹ve made up my mind I ain¹t wasting no more time But, here I go again Here I go again Tho¹ I keep searching for an answer I never seem to find what I¹m looking for Oh Lord, I pray You give me strength to carry on Cos I know what it means To walk along the lonely street of dreams An¹ here I go again on my own Goin¹ down the only road i¹ve ever known Like a drifter I was born to walk alone An I¹ve made up my mind I ain¹t wasting no more time I¹m just another heart in need of rescue Waiting on love¹s sweet charity An¹ I¹m gonna hold on For the rest of my days Cos I know what it means To walk along the lonely street of dreams An¹ here I go again on my own Going down the only road I¹ve ever known Like a drifter I was born to walk alone An¹ I¹ve made up my mind I ain¹t wasting no more time But here I go again Here I go again Here I go again Here I go again Cos I know what it means To walk along the lonely street of dreams An¹ here I go again on my own Going down the only road I¹ve ever kown Like a drifter I was born to walk alone An¹ I¹ve made up my mind I ain¹t wasting no more time An¹ here I go again on my own Going down the only road I¹ve ever known Like a drifter I was born to walk alone Cos I know what it means To walk along the lonely street of dreams
i still cant believe the rockets didnt ship juwan outta h-town for sam i am last year whats it gonna take to get rid of him? i say the rockets shop juwan to the knicks, they might be crazy enough to take him off of our hands i would much rather see stro out there with yao
i like juwan. hes a classy guy. i hope he wins a championship someday whether its with the rockets or some other team...
Do any of you think that if the team that eclipsed us last night (Boston?) in the race for lotto balls ends up with the top pick . . . you'll immediately think F'N JHO - TINMAN WAS RIGHT! Remember exactly how lucky we've been at these things in the past before you assume that JHO has nothing to do with it. First, Hakeem on coin flip. Then, Yao on the lucky lotto ball. Today, JHO's 31 drops us back to where we pick 8th and nobody decent is available, while Boston picks up the top pick with our lost ball. How sweet would that be?
What if we had won and Boston still got the numebr one pick due to "luck of the draw" - boy would you be pissed at use for losing that one game. There is a reason they call it the lottery. Yes, it is weighted, but even with that, there has been some pretty random teams moving up in the past.
