I see no way you can boo this Rockets team. They are playing hard as they can but the talent gap is lacking.

Never. Never ever is it OK to boo your own team.

I've never been able to understand people who boo. Do you truly, honestly think doing that will make your team be better? Do you think it helps the confidence of the guy you're booing? How well would you do your job if your boss was standing behind you booing as you tried to work?

Seriously. Cubs fans do this **** all the time and then wonder why their free agents never pan out.

how could you boo this team? they're at a disadvantage at just about every position and are still at least trying to compete no matter what the results are.

    Then it's considered bad manners.

Friend of mine was at Game 7 of Lakers-Rox last year and that's the etiquette he encountered among Rox fans present. They cheered (both times) when the Rox scored, but never booed LA.

It's OK to cheer for the road team - if you're a road fan - but you never boo the home team. It's like dissing your host. Go to his house, enjoy his food, have fun at the party - but don't sleep with his wife.

When it looks like your team has given up, when they stop trying, you can absolutely boo them, even if it is the Rockets. I don't see the current team doing that besides maybe a couple players, so I wouldn't boo right now, but it certainly is not taboo.

OK knee jerk? Yeah... but it's like to 40th time this season my knee has rocketed into my face as I watch this team piss everything it used to be good at away. And no this is not a we were better with Tracy post. I just mean damn, we have no defense. Then I got to thinking about it and I realized it's really not the Rockets fault since this season was all on T-mac.

On top of that, the accelerator pedal at the Toyota Center was stuck, so it's really not their fault the entire building crashes and burns every night.

how can you boo your home team? i mean, after a game, it's fine if fans are critical of players and speak their minds. but if you're at the arena, you're there to SUPPORT the team. real fans support their teams through the tough times (as we are experiencing right now) and the good times (as we may experience next season).

hell, i watch the rockets from my computer and i get frustrated as hell these past few months, but i still watch the entire game (well not tonight b/c i can't watch these kinds of blowouts lol).

you know how some fans say "my team sucks..." those words will never come out of my mouth. even if we are the worst team in the league, i don't think i can ever utter those words publicly.

Never. well at least not the rockets. not these rockets. especially when u have guys like Battier,Brooks, and Chase bustin their asses out there on a nightly basis. Plus you constantly have D-leaguers tweaking the rotation. Boo management, not the team.
