yeah i am living over here in spring now, i got out of the army a few months ago and moved back... no not made anymore it was a douchebag move from the coach to keep his starters on the field oh well.
I've generally felt that anything up to halftime is pretty much fair game in any sport; usually, that's enough to allow the starters to get some work in, pump up their stats, and put the game away. Realistically, there are going to be such great imbalances at that level that even if you call every single play a run up the middle, a team could still get blown out by a score much worse than 63-0. Even if you rush 4 every time, if your team is outweighed at every position, fumbles are going to happen. If a receiver beats his man on a "clear out route", and the QB sees him, he's got to throw the bomb. It's pretty dick to keep playing the starters late, calling trick plays, or going for it on 4th down but not playing hard on every play is a far greater insult than running up the score. As long as no one's getting physically injured by cheap shots, you have to let the kids play.
