Stop your crying, they lost fair and square. It's FOOTBALL, not ballet or gymnastics. I remember when we got our butts handed to us when I played back in the days, I could have cared less and it's not like their kids, they're in 9th grade.
The Rockets beat the Sixers by 60 points. After realizing how much they suck they regrouped, and worked hard to improve. Last season, the Seventy-Sixer's went 2-0 against the Rockets and made the playoffs. It's football. It would be disrespectful to both his players, and the opposing team if the coach told his team to ease up.
I'm sure the coach had more on his mind than some loser in the stands who p*ssed and moaned all game, and then went on an internet forum to tell how toughy he is because he was "Gonna seriously smash him......honestly.....".
You are an insane person. As to the outcome of the game; one should always perform to the best of his ability.
why would you onside kick when you're up 22-0 (right after going for two) with 8 minutes left in the first quarter unless you're a complete dick? yeah, maybe the op was a little out of line, but there's a difference in continuing to play the game and completely humiliating 14 year olds.
I agree...but I wouldnt make an ass of myself and say something like "every touchdown you score from now. the closer i get to you". Congrats XBLRocketman111! You're that guy.
Yo, XBLRocketman111, I'm happy for you and ima let you finish, but Johnny Depp was the best cry baby of all time...of all TIME!
he's not alone. i went to my nephew's 8th grade game a couple weeks ago and i'd venture a guess that over half the parents/fans were screaming at coaches, refs, other parents over perceived dirty play.
One out of every four or five Oak Ridge North citizens is a traffic cop. The whole town--if you can call it that--is one big speed trap. The Woodlands should have ran it up to 300 to nuthin.
Everybody loves to see a competitor exert total dominance over their opponent...unless it is happening to them. Stop crying and play ball. You play with the big boys and you are going to take some ass-whoopings along the way. Or maybe you can just teach your nephew that it is alright to cry and resort to petty violence in the face of adversity?
First of all check yourself, you're at a HS FRESHMAN football game. Second of all its football you get what you earn. I would much rather see my nephew get his arse beat by 100 than have the other team give him some pitty scores. I would hope he learns from this. He can only get better as a player by playing against better competition and now he has an idea of the level of play should expect as he moves up in his football career.
Totally Agree....There is no reason to be pulling onside kicks out of your playbook at 8 minutes remaining in the first quarter.
While I disagree with the OP's 'angry parent from the stands' story, I gotta admit, this is pretty much a douchebag move.
Uhm. What about onside kick practice? You can never practice that enough. Imagine if they were playing Oak Ridge Freshman Team B.
