arenas totally dominated them. Defending the superstar guard/forward is the Mavs biggest weakness. Remember Kobe giving them 60 in 3 quarters last year. That is why T-Mac MUST get his game right. Yao is a great player, but they can just throw doubles and triples at him and slow him down.
The Mavs didn't look like themselves. Sure enough Gilbert Arenas was the main reason the Wizards won, but during some stretches the Mavs were so uninspired on offense it was weird. When they got it together, they took a 31 point 2nd half lead and cut it to 7 with 2 minutes left.
you know teams that normally have winning streaks, about 10 or more tend to lose about 3-4 straight when their streak ends..
