I really don't want to see anymore of Charlie Ward than I have to, honestly speaking. He is slower than molasses and it's no coincidence the offense picked up dramatically when they put a point guard who could move at a decent speed on the floor. I'd rather play Jon Barry in the backcourt with Wesley if they can't find a suitable trade. At best, I would accept Ward in a small bench role if he could hit his threes, but no way would I even consider starting him.

I was at the Sonics game last night and noticed something interesting. Charlie Ward sat on the bench next to Patrick Ewing and listened in on the huddle during all of the timouts. On the other hand, Mo Taylor and never-getting-off-the-injured-list Gaines sat in a row by themselves behind the bench and did not stand up and walk to the huddle during timeouts. Only towards the end of the 4th quarter did Taylor and Gaines leave their isolation booth. I wondered if Ward's participation was a sign that he may be coming off of IR soon. Who would take his place on IR? Spoon? Or is Sura so bad that he'll definitely miss 5 games?

We'll know today after Sura's exam, doesn't look good from all the talk. He will probably be out 4-8 weeks if the exam shows he has herniated his disk again. I hope Ward is in shape and doesn't take too long to get into the flow because we may need him. I'm hoping we can get DA for MoT+2nd pick.

I say we sign Brandin Knight....oh we already did that. :D But seriously he probably couldnt do any worse than what we already have on the roster.

I don't know when he will be back. I have to research that for you... maybe you don't know... but there are these things called WEB SEARCH ENGINES... they find articles and web pages around the world... or, you can randomly type in the address of the company that can report stuff such as the one you seek... like www.rockets.com may be a good place to check before you ask us... or maybe www.houstonchronicle.com may have something... I don't know... or check CLutchCity.net ... those guys know plenty about basketball... someone might help you there...

I'd really like to see Charlie Ward back in action. He's got great moral character and he's a terrific player.
