Nope. At my age and most of my friends' age, I don't think making gay references to unknowing facebook folks is funny. Great if some folks do. I also found farts funny when I was in high school, but not now.

Just so you know, that post was meant to basically sugarcoat the bitterpill that fatty is having to swallow in realizing his cheeky online shennanigans aren't exactly great comedy material. It wasn't meant to let you stand on a soapbox. I was painting with a broadbrush that really shouldn't bother you.
Seriously, Fatty...it is not so much about what you posted being so juvenile, it is your neediness. You really had to come post it here to show how awesome you are? It just reeks of a desperate grab for attention and affirmation. It is something a 14 year old girl would do. Or Manny when he first started here (he didn't try to show how awesome he was, but damn he was needy and insecure). Fatty = 14 year old girl = Manny's first month on the bbs = sadness.
Perhaps, but it shows how you can't please all of the people all of the time. It is interesting that over 500 people were able to see this, yet nobody except my mom chose to chastise us for obviously juvenile behavior. I guess anonymity does give people the abilty to be more brazen.
But by painting with such a broad brush you are perpetuating the FFB myth that folks that are 35+ years of age would find this funny among their peers in a more private setting.
Haha - you are hilarious, Fatty. In one post you coyly reinforced how big your Facebook circle is and take swing at me (and others) with the "anonymity = more brazen" bit. Cool. Again, most people have made fun of you here because you asked for it through the neediness of your post(s) and not strictly about any perceived immaturity. Perhaps that is part of your neediness? Who knows. Oh, "if you knew me in real life" you would know that I post as I am in the real world. I don't see the point in creating a persona here that holds no bearing in reality.
I guess it was the thread on the top 100 posters where I tried listing them all that made people like rimmy feel that way.
Most people will tell you that the greatest movie of all-time is "The Godfather" while others would tell you "The Shawshank Redemption". But not Fatty, no - he would tell you that it is "Porky's".
Look, I'm turning 40 here in a few months and I am the first to admit that I still get off to some good ol’ fashioned potty humor. Caddyshack and Animal House are still 2 of my all-time favorite movies and I still laugh at the campfire scene in Blazing Saddles - as well as the toilet scene in Dumb and Dumber. But, like rimbaud is alluding to...I'm just not sure if getting on someone's Facebook page and changing their status really warrants a thread with the title "when facebook goes awesome". As admittedly sophomoric as my sense of humor can be…I just don’t think this is funny. Certainly not worthy of a Hangout thread. That being said, in an odd sort of way, this thread IS very funny – just not in the way the OP probably had in mind. Or DID he………
At 53 I found it funny. My retired military/biker dad would "lol". My mom, being Japanese, wouldn't know what she was reading. Of course I'm laughing at somebody's else expense (Thank you FFB!) And no, it wouldn't bother me personally unless someone was being mean spirited. So, say la vie, que sera sera, don't worry, be happy! edit: dang, two pages were added while I was replying to rhadamanthus (cool name to type). Thanks for the humor FattyFat b*stard...good attitude all the way around!
This is FFB we are talking about here. I mean, are you really surprised? Dude has the stench of insecurity in 99.9% of his posts.
