when does it all start (Training Camp & Pre-Season Start Dates)

    Training Camp Opens at Toyota Center: October 2

    All the preseason games will be telvised most likely on 51.

    Nevermind. :) I see ESPN has the Chinese games, which is cool.

    51 will likely have at least some of the others. I'm almost positive every preseason game was aired by 51 last year.

    I believe you are right. They were all on last year and if they hadn't, I would have been pissed.

    Are you sure they are doing training camp at the TC this year? They aren't going to go to Galveston?

    Rockets website has the Miami pre-season game advertised as being on Ch 51

    Does NBA League Pass carry any preseason games? This will be my first year ordering it.

    NBA League Pass doesn't carry preseason games. I was pretty pissed last season when I figured it out.

    Yes, last year all the preseason games were on 51, I made a preseason log book and wrote notes down on all players in the preseason, Was hoping i could do that again this year, cant wait to see ANY baskteball with people in rockets jerseys on :) :)

    I thought they had like one or two a night. May not be the Rox, though. Pre season is really boring if it is not a team you care about.

    The open practice is usually right after training camp - about 3 weeks into the preseason.

    No, there is no pre-season games on League Pass at all. They start airing games on opening night, when it's actually free for the first week or so.

    Now, whether or not they show some games on NBATV is another story.

    All games home and away with the exception of ESPN, ABC and TNT games will be aired on Channel 51. I called channel 51 and they verified it.:D

    2 of the 7 preseason games are on ESPN. The 1st game vs. Miami is on Sunshine Network. The others don't show if it will be televised, but I'm thinking Ch. 51.

    Yeah, both of the ones in China. The first one, October 14th is on at 6:30 am locally. I guess that means you can watch some bball before work. Sweet.
