Some of you talk about the rockets like they're the bobcats. We were almost into the playoffs without a superstar. I'll take morey over any gm in the league. Minus paxson,Riley, and kupchek.

That's precisely the problem. The problem for the last 3 seasons actually.

Here is hoping and praying that your daughter recovers well from her illness. I lost my wife to breast cancer in June last year and I am still in mourning. Keep up the faith and I am sure your daughter is strong enough to fight and win over this devious disease.

Hang in there great Rockets fan. I lost my wife to breast cancer in June last year so I know what you and your family are going through. Just be strong and make your mom always happy and comfortable. I hope he beats this disgusting disease because every victory is a huge step to conquer cancer. My prayers are with your mom and your family. Take care.

I'm a huge Morey fan and will continue to be. However, I think my opinion of Morey being completely flawless changed after recent first round draft selections (Patterson and Morris, though they both deserve a few more years to prove themselves before we extract a final narrative on them) and the trade to acquire Terrence Williams.

Those who want him fired probably weren't around when Carroll Dawson was our GM.

There's a difference IMHO. Hill and Thabeet were acceptable risks in my book cuz those the price for those wasn't very high, Hill was acquired for Tmac's corpse, and Thabeet was acquired for half a season of "gonna walk away" Battier.

T-will was acquired for a lottery pick, that's definitely a move I was against because the price was high. With the Melo trade he was going after I was totally 100% against it, we would have traded our team for a soft-bellied overpaid rental.

When I started realising players really don't want to be here or come here and he's a big reason why. Even Gordon now gets a better feeling with the Suns organisation than the Rockets one.

When the roster turnover every year started to resemble the changing of socks. When each and every stated plan became unfulfilled. The handling of JVG....

Doesn't CD get the excuse of . . . WELL LES IS THE OWNER AND IT WAS HIS VISION . . . too?

No because the situations and the contexts are entirely different. It wasn't Les' vision to hand out dumb contracts to Maurice Taylor or Moochie Norris, and btw CD was old and ready to retire anyway.

That has zero relevance to the situation Morey's....not sure why I'm explaining this to you as I don't believe it will have much effect in terms of post quality improvement.

People say this but CD created an environment where people wanted to play here. Even in the Steve Francis days the team was exciting to watch. Our current team has no direction and our best players don't want to be here. Ill take CD swinging for the fences over Morey's 1st base singles anyday

Of course not . . . Every bad thing CD did . . .was on CD
Every bad thing Morey does. . . is because of Les

Go back and read Clutch's article that he posted here before last season about how with a lockout shortened season and a deep draft, this was a throwaway year and it was time to play young guys and trade away vets. Not sign new vets for need. I think that's why they lost him with the Dalembert deal.

I've never been on my knees for dm like half (well, way more than half) of this board. He has been ok, nothing grand. I think people see he went to MIT and assume he's going to be brilliant at everything. Not necessarily the case.

I don't think he should be fired (yet), but if nothing changes for the better by the end of the 2013-14 season, it's time for him to go.
