For me Morey's first FOUR years were really solid. Last season, plus this offseason has soured me. Look at his signature moves, and tell me if you agree that his performance has slipped: Year 1: 2007-2008: PHENOMENAL: Draft: Aaron Brooks – 26th pick Trades: Spanoulis & 2nd round pick for Luis Scola POOR: Free Agent: Steve Francis (old washed up) Year 2: 2008-2009: PHENOMENAL: Trades: Bobby Jackson, Donte Green, and 29th pick for Ron Artest Trades: Rafer Alston for Kyle Lowry (& Brian Cook) Free Agents: Von Wafer POOR: Free Agent: Brent Barry (old washed up) Draft / Trade: Drafted Nicolas Batun – traded for Joey Dorsey + Donte Green Year 3: 2009-2010: FAIR/GOOD: Trades: Tracy McGrady and Carl Landry for Kevin Martin, Jordan Hill, Jared Jeffries and what turned out to be the 16th pick in the 2012 draft (Royce White). Draft pick swap didn’t work out, and Jordan Hill never really improved. Honestly we thought we did better than it has turned out. We’ll see if Royce White turns into a stud. General Comments: Morey’s Trade record is generally very positive - TWill trade a noteable exception. Morey’s Free Agent track record is generally very poor. I trust his trades (hopefully yet to come) more than his free agent signings (Asik, ?) Morey’s Draft record is mostly positive, with a few bombs (Morris, Dorsey) Morey traded for the 4 worst of the top 12 ‘09ers low risk, but no reward. IT'S STILL REALLY EARLY TO CALL THIS OFFSEASON A BUST, but maybe Morey's getting better at playing poker...can't tell where this is leading...

You do realize the draft pick trades you have listed where made for other people? The trades were made before the draft and we made selections for them and they made the selections for us
I wasn't going to say anything because of busy offseason, but it is what it is. Btw, we never asked for anything and didn't expect anything...that is the Aussie way. There was a lady from Houston that once sent us photocopies of all the players autographs, thunder sticks and a few trinkets. She is a long time Rockets fan and out of the goodness of her heart...2 years ago randomly sent us some Rockets stuff. A Rockets fan from twitter once told me she would record all the games, burn them and send them to Australia so I can watch them. That's what sets our fans apart from others in my eyes. Gotta love that.
Thats a great story. Had to give you + on that. My mother is going through chemotherapy for breats cancer right now. I hope your daughter is doing great in her recovery. Best wishes to her.
