No kidding. What absolutely delusional revisionist history. The tea party was originally formed from the remnants of Ron Paul's 2008 Presidential campaign in response to the financial crisis and the blowback created by the early ideas proposed for TARP/Economic Stabilization Act. After the dust settled from the crisis, freepers and nimwits like Sarah Palin saw something popular and latched onto it like a virus. Eventually twisting and mangling the message from a populist one to a "OBAMA IS A SECRET COMMIE MOOSLIM" one.
It doesn't matter. He'll ignore facts that disagree with his internal narrative. I've pointed out several things about the guy that MojoMan currently just loves to death and he ignores the facts that don't jive with how he views Cruz. In other words, he's a dream voter for Cruz. People that ignore facts that would make Cruz look bad, while lapping up every word Cruz pumps out of his mouth as truth, when it's not. Hey, good luck. It won't do any good, but keep posting the truth. Other people will read it, even if MojoMan isn't interested. He can't handle the truth.
Yeah. More specifically, he held a fundraising event on the anniversary of the Tea Party and that is when the phrase started being thrown around.
Both Teddy Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy were under 45 when they became President, and both were Harvard grads. Robert F. Kennedy likely would have been President under 45 years old. But even if you don't consider that, he was a senator and Attorney General. I think you you look at a broader range of government, law, business, and entertainment roles the list of highly accomplished Harvard grads would be very extensive.
Oh, will Jack Kennedy serve as a decent example? Kennedy happened to be a Harvard grad who served 3 terms in the US Senate before being elected President of these United States. He was 43.
Why D.C. Hates Ted Cruz Cruz’s fans say it’s because he stands on principle. But his critics say he’s never achieved anything—except burnishing his own brand. http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/01/why-dc-hates-ted-cruz/426915/
No one does like him...... He is gay...... I haven't noticed a fat face.... are you sure those aren't strong jaw muscles?
....and to nobody's surprise, here comes the liberal media to try to take down whichever Republican seems to be gaining momentum. Dubious - are you able to think for yourself, or can you only parrot back what news you find in liberal magazines? You and Deckard don't appear willing to think critically or even think for yourself. I have not been impressed by either of your recent posts, therefore you are teetering on the edge of ignore for me.
A year ago, if you told Republican strategists that Ted "Grandpa Munster" Cruz and Donald "Rapist" Trump were leading the Republican primaries this late.... they would throw up.
Yes raised in the 60's in Texas, I was indoctrinated with the liberal, democratic socialist, secular humanist doctrine. I am incapable thinking otherwise. Mostly I post these types of articles to make Mojo question his statements about Cruz. It's inconceivable to me that any thinking or caring person can actively support regressive politics, religious dogma or anti-intellectualism. Or be continually fooled by the astro-turf candidates that they might be about anything but the economic issues of their billionaire supporters, usually about preserving and expanding their on wealth at the expense of the the environment, the military and the working people.
I'm sorry, are you still treating this like a legitimate topic of discussion? If so, you should really shut the **** up.
Quinnipiac Poll - Iowa (1/26/16): Trump 31 Cruz 29 Rubio 15 Here is the RCP poll average - Iowa Trump 33.2 Cruz 27.5 Rubio 12.0 And the poll average includes two polls from Fox News and CNN, both showing Trump +11. Both of these polls have unusually small sample sizes (378 and 266, respectively), and apparently also assume an unusually high level of turnout, which just happens to be what Trump requires to win. These polls appear to be outliers and are based on some very questionable metrics. Clearly, it would be in the best interests of Fox News and CNN if Trump wins, as he is their ratings machine right now. Of course I have no special knowledge about how these polls were conducted, I am just making an observation. However, it is still true that this race is close and it will all come down to turnout in the end.
