It will be interesting to find out why he was pushing this alternate delegation while also acknowledging the evidence of fraud couldn't be proven. Ted Cruz pushed to have legitimate votes cast out and overturn a free and fair election. But @Commodore wants to complain about the sentienceing of the insurrectionists. We see who really supports our constitution and who opposes it.
It's also potentially problematic thinking back to how opposed Republicans were to a bi-partisan investigation. It makes sense because of how deeply they were. These Cruz tapes are from prior to the Jan. 6th. Yet, he was already planning a bogus fake committee who he claims would be able to nullify the votes in certain states. No wonder they wouldn't want an investigation into that.
The sad part is for all of that Cruz is hated even within the GOP he’s very likely to rewin his seat. I love Texas but continuing to elect venal hucksters like Ted Cruz is not something to be proud of.
I disagree with the tweet, as much as I disagree with ted cruz, I applaud his position condemning the Ugandan anti-homosexuality law and agree its horrific and should be loudly and broadly condemned. Hopefully the anti-LBGTQ+ movement here in the United States never gets to this...
