Though I think those Russian Oligarchs robbed the entire wealth of their country for a handful of people. If I was Russian i'd have his wealth seized by the government and properly IPO'd fbo the country.

I don't want to send this thread packing to the DnD, but I do find it interesting that people are complaining more about the 7 grand tip which went to presumably middle class waitstaff than the epically wasteful expense of the meal and wine itself.

Is it because the Billionaire and his posse were rich and therefore deserving, but sharing the wealth with the waitstaff is wrong because they are part of the unwashed and undeserving middle class?

 

someone with $1,000,000,000 spending $48k on a meal is like someone with $100,000 spending less than $5 of which around $0.75 is a tip.

 

Spending 50K a day on food, it would take one 20,000 days (~55 years) to burn though $1 billion.
