I live in DC and Wall is injured a ton. However those nagging injuries and the freak partial Achilles tear were all fixed. I think it’s the ramp up of not playing for two years. He used to push through and play through these nagging injuries; he’s listening to his body now. James harden is gone so we can stop with the durability comparisons. 13 was as durable as they come if not the most durable dude in the league.
Whatsup wit dat? Whatsup wit dat? Ewwww...weeee. Whatsup wit dat? I said...Eric Gordon down again....WHATSUP....WIT...DAT?
I I wonder if he'll get fat not playing. What's your analysis? Is he fat? Or do you not dislike him yet so he's still skinny?
Because the alternative was keeping Russell Westbrook? Russ has missed significant time with a quad injury this year. So the trade was a wash injury wise and definitely a win after you consider fit and role
Wall really needs to just completely tear down that jumper and rebuild it from scratch. There is precedent, ala Jkidd, but it would be a major risk... but considering he is on a max for the next couple years now would be the time. Furthermore, he could be extremely effective now if he studied Cp3's execution on the PnR. I feel Wall still doesn't read the play very well but because of his ultra-athleticism, he still does well enough to be a fringe all-star talent.
I was surprised coming into the season how much he was playing early on. I expected more of a 'load management' approach to his minutes right off the bat given the injury he was coming off of. Something like limiting his minutes to 30/game and not playing him back-to-backs. Wouldn't be surprised to see us go that route after this latest issue.
