Went to school for journalism, but left with a semester to go. :)

Co-own a web development company with Clutch and spend about 60 percent of my time on that. The rest of my time not sleeping and surfing the net is spent as a musician in two bands as well as a few side projects.

Didn't know that. I work in IT as well, supporting Web Servers/Infrastructure for one of the big oil/gas companies here in Houston.

I am taking a very long, circuitous road to a PhD.

Right now I am an assistant conservator and I might also get a MS in Conservation Science with the goal of teaching (art history) and then having a private conservation practice on the side.

It's hardly a 'pro'-fession, more of a job to get by everyday.

After I left a well-paying job as a business analyst, I've been stucked behind the technical 'helldesk' for a local ISP. Man, I think I'm getting hemerrhoid for sitting long hours daily over the past 2+ years.

    Assistant District Attorney.

Although I would love to be able to say I was a professional musician -- which is another passion of mine. :)

    Going for MS

Taking 6 hours in Drilling (joke class) and Advanced Thermodynamics. Research objective is apparently to come up with a screening model for CO2 floods for the Gulf Coast region that smaller operators can use. Somehow i'm using dimensionless groups and type curves to do that.

Plan is to eventually stop avoiding the real world and get a job after spring 2006 semester at some oil company in houston (can't leave H-town and the new and improved rockets).
