rep for the doublewood, but i take it back for the slam on JW Black, which is the finest of blended scotches in my estimation- far superior to red label, and the equal of many single malts.

for a lighter blend, that's perfect for the 6PM timeslot, when you're transitioning from your day, try Dewars, rocks, twist.

you cannot make a Manhattan with Bourbon- negative rep for you sir (although Knob Creek is fine on its own.)

    Macallan on the rocks.

    Anything less, would be uncivilized.

OLD WELLER 107 PROOF BOURBON WHISKEY
A medium amber bourbon, bearing a sweetish note with some unusual floral notes and a string dash of vanilla. The body is big and the palate is very well balanced, flirting between sweet honeyed fruit notes, a strong vanilla undertone and some sharp spicy tones; the finish is long and spicy.

    Wine Enthusiast rating: 88

I used to drink my scotch on the rocks, but after awhile I just got annoyed at how diluted it could get.

I took a chance on some Sam Adam's Summer Ale the other day buying a six pack. I was reading reviews on it and people either really like it or hate it. I wasn't blown away by it personally. I thought it was only okay per my tastes. I think I would prefer the Boston Lager. I'll finish it off eventually. There are five left if anyone wants one. ;)

I grab a dog. I choke him and I kick the **** out of him. All day long got my foot up a dog's ass. Just bang, bang, bang up his ass. That's my pleasure.

this, and i don't drink liquor very often anymore, but when i do it's either a vodka cranberry, greyhound, vodka tonic, vodka sprite, margarita, or gin and tonic. can't do rum, whiskey, bourbon, jager, or pretty much any other liquor anymore. and the vodka or tequila has to be watered down. ugh, my stomach is churning just typing out the names of different liquors...

I like lots of liquors, but I'd probably go with Don Julio '42 as my favored nighttime drink of choice (when I can afford it, which is rarely hah).

And in the day you can't really go wrong with margaritas.

I never mix my good tequila with anything. Last night I had a nice glass of Casa Noble Anejo...this weekend I'll try a new one my wife bought me...Partida Reposado.

The wonderfully smokey flavor of a great single malt scotch.

Usually either Makers Mark or Tullamore Dew. But, I usually have a bottle of Glenmorangie around too. But, it's too expensive for frequent drinking for me.
