Back to work, but still feeling the effects of a long night out. Warehouse Live/Lucky's Lounge was pretty cool. We got screwed out of the promised midnight buffet. All they had were some crappy breakfast tacos and were charging. Could have used that to soak up much of the alcohol I had drank over the earlier hours.

And, yes, we cabbed it to and from. Ain't no reason to even have the ability to drive anywhere. Left the keys at my brother's place.

    Next time...quiet evening at home.

Bad News: Gig was cancelled at the last minute.

Good News: Because the contract was signed, we still got paid! :D So I was able to fulfill a dream I’ve had since 1999... stay home on New Years Eve! And it was everything that I had dreamed of.

We went out to eat and drank a few strong margaritas, then came home and rang in the new year while [HARDCORE p*rn REFERENCE DELETED BY MODERATOR].

Mine was drama unfortunately. Wife's friend came over and was depressed about her stupid boyfriend, so I had to look after her bratty kid and took him to a neighbors house - fun

Then the bratty kid freaked out when I ran out of fireworks to set off so I took him home. Of course his mom bailed so I had to get this kid ready for bed and all that.... In the meantime, my wife and daughter passed out on the couch.

NYE was a blast, but was sick all day yesterday. Not sure if it was hangover or just a quick 24-hour thing, but laying in bed all day blew.
