To tell you the truth, I couldn't tell you for sure whether or not any of those were what I was thinking about. All I remember is this forearm in a book that was much larger than a T-Rex's. If it helps, I think it had a different amount of claws, or fingers, whatever you call them. I can't remember if it was 3 or 2 but it was different than the T-Rex, IIRC. It has probably been about 8 or 9 years since I really studied dinosaurs so a lot of the stuff I knew is gone or fuzzy. I agree it would be interesting. I may change my mind on the subject if I become one of those guys that is stuck in a cubicle all year, just looking a paper work. Maybe their are dinosaurs to dig up in Hawaii that I can work on when I grow up. Hmm...all this dinosaur talk is getting me interested in them again. Just kind of weird to say one day to your friends, "Hey, did you know that the Brachiosaurus had forelegs bigger than their hind legs?" Probably will still read back into it again, though.
Are there any dino experts on the BBS? And MacB, I figured you of all people would pick the Raptors..erggh I mean Raptor....
I'm a T-Rex fan through and through. BTW, that wasn't new transformers that Lilpun posted, that was somebody elses 3d models of the dinobots and just put into a real background. Fadeaway, did you draw that Ank yourself? Hilarious, I just can't stop picturing an adult man doing this kids drawing. All that's missing is the smiley face on the Sun. Anyboyd remember Dinomation? What about Dino Riders? Badass!
Ohh man, denver the last dinosaur is a throwback. nice job. I still remember the song. Denver... The last dinosaur. I forgot the lyrics. I think the Houston museum has an aklyosauraus. I havent been to the museum in a few years. Scientests said that the stegasaurus was a moron. I like the Triceratops.
Ancestor of the Armadillo. Can't go wrong with that. I was partial to the Triceratops, at least until Laura Dern had that stupid love-fest with one in Jurassic Park I. I also liked the nasty one in the original King Kong movie... he was cool. Was that a T-Rex or an Allosaurus? Kong had his hands full with that one.
c'mon now, you know you're allosaurus would get punked by my veggie-eater. those dino-rider toys were the ****, also the exo-squad ones. ok what was that cartoon where there were these talking dinos and the leader of the bad guys was a t-rex and the good guys was an allosaurus. i think it was pretty sweet but i can't think what it was.
Dude, where in the HECK did you pull that one out of?! I would have never remembered that show in a million years, even though I used to watch it.
HOLY CRAP! Look what I found: How many of you remember the original "Land of the Lost" series from the mid '70's? I do. I was checking out some comparisons between the 70's version and the 90's version when I found this little tidbit in the cast of the 70's version: Bill Laimbeer .... Sleestak Yes, it's THE Bill Laimbeer of the Pistons
Alas, no. I wish I could draw that good. Dino Riders were pretty cool. I had a... umm... remember in Jurassic Park there was a wide open field and a huge herd of two-legged dinos started stampeding? I had one of those with guns on its back.
