By a Large Amount. I actually like Batman Begins better than Dark Knight Momento and Inception are good primarily based on their concepts and ideas I almost just said: "The one with Christian Bale in it!!" They seem to work together alot Rocket River
Just rewatched Prestige. It really is gripping, and there's no metaphysical head scratching like in Memento and Inception, not that I don't enjoy that also. But as a movie, Prestige takes it. M Night should relearn how to do his twists based on the Prestige.
Great to hear The Prestige getting some love, I've been talking to people in my office and a few friends and I'm shocked at how many haven't seen it. Its a bloody impressive film from top to bottom and outside of it overall greatness, its also got the perfect tag line for any of Nolan's movies "Are You Watching Closely?"
I've only seen part of Prestige and haven't seen the following or insomnia...While I appreciate the concept of Inception, I personally like TDK the best...then Batman Begins...Memento is last
1. TDK 2t. Memento 2t. Prestige 3. Inception (have to watch it again, but Memento had a bigger wow ending) Haven't seen following. Didn't like Insomnia.
Wow, I'm surprised The Prestige is getting as much love as it is. It was nowhere near my favorite of his, though I've yet to rate any Nolan movie I've seen less than about a 7/10. The brawl in my head between Inception, TDK and Memento was brutal and near impossible to declare a winner, but this is my hesitant order. 1) Inception (10/10) 2) Memento (10/10) 3) The Dark Knight (10/10) 4) The Prestige (9/10) 5) Batman Begins (9/10) 6) Insomnia (7/10) Have yet to see Following, but it is a priority.
The Prestige is awesome, I loved every minute of it when I saw it in the theaters. But I still can't place it above the holy trinity of Memento / Dark Knight / Inception. Inception and Memento are probably both in my Top 5 of all time, and The Dark Knight was only the best super-villain performance of all time.
