Um, Mayer has been in high demand for collaborations from such sissy artists as Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy and Common, not to mention opening up for some of the Rolling Stones shows. Brooks and Dunn are probably off not compromising with Toby Keith in the back of a Ford somewhere. Not that there's anything wrong with that. As far as Dave Matthews being a sissy. With the abundance of hot girls at his shows (including my beautiful fiancee), I couldn't really care less if he was a sissy or not. Now Boyd Tinsley would kick your ass and everyone else's ass here as well. Not sure what's prompted your obsession with our friendship, but whatever works for you while you're dreaming under that Neon Moon. BTW, I have no idea what my favorite album of this decade is. Surprisingly, it's not a DMB album, I don't think. Ask me next year and I'll tell you Stand Up though.
and don't forget B.B. King. it does not surprise me in the least that bigtexxxxx and i disagree on music tastes. nor does it bother me.
You may want to direct this at the person who started the thread: Since 2000, what's your favorite CD (released in these years)? My top 3: incubus: morning view our lady peace: live jack johnson: in between dreams honorable mention: franz ferdinand, the killers, and the new foo fighters cd.
Fair enough. Put it to you this way. I copied and pasted someone's answer from the first page randomly. What is that supposed to tell me? How does this help? Within one page there are hundreds of CD's. Too damn many if you ask me, with no opinions or relative comments (mostly). Just names of CD's that are out there. How does that help anyone? To put another way. Let's say I start a thread asking for a favorite breakfast joint. (hypothetically, of course) If my responses were 10 restaurant's from every post with no elaboration, that helps nobody. All of the sudden, I now have 1000 breakfast places. I'd be better off looking through the phone book.
Stories from the city, Stories from the sea - PJ Harvey Stripped - Christina Aguilera Fever - Kylie Minogue Boot and a Shoe - Sam Phillips Fan Dance - Sam Phillips
I didn't realize this thread had to help people. It's just for fun, dude. Chill. I personally enjoy reading what CDs people are listening to or which ones they like the most. They don't have to give me a thesis as to why that is. If one strikes my interest and I want more information about it, I'll ask.
No Exploding Hearts, Weezer? That one is actually moving up fast for me, will probably make the list in the next 6 mo. to a year.
The Mighty Rearranger - Robert Plant Except for the wimpy opening cut it's almost Zepplinesque. Honorable mention (just to piss off Fatty) Two Against Nature - Steely Dan (Feb 2000) Welcome To The Interstate Managers - Fountains Of Wayne Songs About Jane - Maroon 5
"Guitar Romantic" is a masterpiece. One of my all-time favs! This album should be filed under, "how to play rock n' roll"
