No offense, but do you have any testes? John Mayer?

My list would have one of Pat Green's albums, and maybe something from Matchbox 20.

If I had to pick just one, I’d go with Coldplay’s “A Rush of Blood to the Head.”

That album is an absolute masterpiece, in my opinion.

radiohead - hail to the theif - suprised nobody else mentioned it yet

spiritualized - let it come down - 100 musicians participated in the making of this album.

jay z - the black album - "what more can i say"

nellie mckay - get away from me - 20 year old multi-instrumentalist genre hopper. my favorite album of 2004.

grandaddy - software slump - i think all the rest of their stuff is really boring, but this album is great. must have been doing all the right drugs at the right time.

the shins - chutes too narrow - great indie pop

r kelly - chocolate factory - its hard to tell if the guy is being serious or tounge in cheek, but i love it. "girl please let me stick my key in your ignition". and how genius is he to go from the actual song right into the remix version! "its the remix to ignition - hot and fresh out the kitchen"

rufus wainwright - want one - never was a fan, but with this album i came out of the closet as a fan. one of the best voices in pop today.

stereolab - sounddust - for some reason, all the other stereolab purists i know dont really care for this album. its my favorite of theirs.

    kanye west - college dropout

cafe tacuba - cuatro caminos - a mexican hybrid of radiohead, beck and manchester rave-up.

***flaming lips soft bulletin came out in summer 1999. yoshimi battles the pink robots came out in 02 though.

have you seen the movie "dig"?

its about the "feud" b/t them and anton from brian jonestown massacre. my friend told me about it the other day. im going to try and watch it this week. they were friends and than anton started stalking them. showing up at their concerts with rollerskates and a dress. the warhols eventually banned him from their shows, but he would wait outside for them.

he mailed them bullets with their names on each one too.

apparently, anton was jealous cause the warhols had a hit song.

Brooks and Dunn kick azz. That's a man's music right there. John Mayer is a sissy. I went to the Houston Rodeo two years ago when John Mayer player (it was a work function - I didn't choose to go that particular night). The crowd was nearly all teeny bopper high school/jr high girls. That tells me a lot. A case could also be made for Dave Matthews being a sissy as well.

Once again, the RM95+MadMax love connection is in full effect.

Y'all can flame me all you want for being against music, but I'm not. However, it does get irritating when people constantly never answer the question correctly.

I look at the thread title "What's your FAVORITE CD (singular) of this decade?

Simple enough. I figure maybe I'll see something here that may interest me.

Instead, this turns into every other music thread where people start vomiting out all the CD's they know. This is what bothers me. Just answer the question. Which is your favorite?

For the record, mine is Nickelback-Silver Side up. A band I am fully aware that others can't stand. Still, I like THIS one the most.

I am going to regret saying this (especially considering I have the guy on ignore) but it is really hard for some people to choose "just one". That is so *boss* that you can choose one; just realize that others are not like that. That is why God made us all different (and I thank Him for that).
