My father would tell you the best chocolate milk ever was from Westmoreland Farm Dairy. They used only jersey cow milk and if I remember correctly he said it had 4% butter fat.
Quik, but only because it was powdered and when they branched out to strawberry, you could snort it like cocaine, same as Fun-Dip.
Hadn't had any in years & years, but easter some of the kids had a bottle of Hershey's Special Dark syrup out. I made a glass. I was pretty damn good.
"You think it's chocolate milk but it's watered down Yoo-Hoo" -Mike D, Beastie Boys Count me in on team Ovaltine, old school, loud and proud.
Haven't had chocolate milk in 15 or so years probably, but I don't recall ever having bad chocolate milk - except for when people just stir Hershey's chocolate syrup into milk. That's lame.
The only one I thought was amazing is Promised Land, I actually had my first glass in about a year last night. I still love me some 2% and Hershey's syrup when its midnight and I have nothing else. It looks like I need to branch out. Also these were amazing, yes they were liquid diabetes and not really chocolate milk but I loved them. I haven't seen them in years.
This lol... But if you gonna drink it anyways, then try the Mill King chocolate milk from Whole Foods. It's low temperature pasteurized milk and tastes out of this world!
I didn't know chocolate milk was still a thing. I guess when I get home I'll have to hop on my BMX, ride down to the U-tote-M and pick some up along with my usual candy and baseball cards. Before I leave, if I get any quarters back from my change, maybe I'll play a few games of 10 Yard Fight. I got my allowance on Friday, so it's ON.
