no ur just a womanThey are so versatile because you can wear them with jeans or slacks or whatever. For some reason, I like shoes. I'm a freak.
back when i ran cross country i practiced only in asics(kept away the shin splints better than any other shoe i wore) and ran meets in nike spikes(what the team bought), but for casual/athletic and basketball its reebok and adidas
I count 8 pairs of shoes that I own: Air Jordans from around 1998 (I think) - still look pretty good and these are the shoes I wear most of the time when I am not working Nike Air Alpha Force or something dumb like that (probably around 2000 or so) - only wear these shoes to work out in as they are about to fall apart. A pair of Nike running shoes (don't know the model name but they are new) A pair of Johnston and Murphy dress shoes that I wear maybe once or twice a year (whenever I have to wear a suit which I don't want to do very often) A pair of Timberland boating shoes that I have had for close to 3 years - a somewhat tan color and damn good shoes. A pair of black Rockport Perth boating shoes that I have had for about a year. A pair of Sebago Schooner boating shoes that I have had for little over a year (these shoes are the f*cking bomb!). And a pair of Dexter Navigators, which are (you guessed it) boating shoes that I have also had for over a year. The last 4 shoes I wear all the time to work and church. Some people might think they are not "dressy" enough, but I don't care as they are all very comfortable (although the Rockport Perth is a heavy shoe compared to the others). Here is a picture of the Sebago (mine doesn't have the oil thing):
I usually wear old school kicks like old Chuck Taylors, Pumas or Adidas Superstars. I started being picky about my basketball shoes after I kept spraining my ankle a few years ago. I wanna try out a pair of Nike Shox, has anyone played hoops in these?
No offense to Reebok, but why in the hell are they giving out endorsement deals to VH-1? Dude, screw it. I'm going to figure out a way to get Reebok to endorse financial Advisors.
Nike. Plain and simple best basketball shoes out there. Air Zoom Huarache 2K4, these shoes personalized are the shiznite. For chilling I usually do the Brons.
Anyone on TV consistantly gets deals. I was with them, Yamaha keyboards and "and 1". You should do a reality show about financial advisors and take it straight to video, that should garner you a few laces at least...
Q: "How do ghosts keep their feet dry?" A: "By wearing boo-ts!" "Hi. My name is Another Brother. I tell jokes for a living, but there's nothing funny about sore feet. Trust me, I know. When I'm up on stage doing my nunnery bit, it can get really hard on the tootsies. Before, the only solution was to go home and soak them in a bucket of ice water, but not anymore!" ** Holds up a pair of Reeboks and flashes that winning smile ** "Ever since I discovered these shoes my feet have been thanking me, and for the low, low price of $49.95, your feet could be thanking you too. Corns and blisters are no laughing matter, so pick up a pair of Reebok kicks today. You'll be glad you did."
I like Adidas (specifically these) I wear Kenneth Cole Reaction dress shoes and also the "bowling" hybrid shoes as mentioned somewhere in this thread
If I go out, I usually rock the New Balances, but if I'm going to play some basketball I have a nice pair of Nikes...
