I just bought my first ever pair of K-Swiss and they are by far the lightest most fomfatable shoe I have ever owned. Highly recommended.
I am an adidas freak. I am constantly getting in trouble with my wife for my latest adidas purchase on eBay.
Asics. High quality shoes without the pretentiousness that is associated with the "big name" brands (Nike, Reebok, etc..).
The ones my mom buys me at Christmas and birthdays. Seriously, I'm not joking. I've never bought a pair of shoes in my life.
Rockports are the shiznit. I love their shoes. They are one of the few that have wide sizes. I go with New Balance tennis shoes for the same reason.
New Balance.....I have wide feet and their 4Es fit me great. Nikes end up blowing out on me while playing hoops or rball.
Always wanted some Adidas but my size 14 feet (arg, why couldn't they stop at 13, people actually HAVE 13 in the stores) seem to be too wide for most of 'em. Just got a pair of "Dadas" in a nice orange to go with my UT shorts for ballin'. Birkenstock sandles for most day to day use, bummin' around campus and such. Doc Martin's for jeans and colder/wetter weather. Been checkin' out the K-Swiss, those look like some nice casual, hangin' out and goin' out shoes.
I've been wearing K-swiss classics for--OMG--the last 25 years or so. I can only find them on the net now, so I've got about a dozen brand new pairs up in my closet. The wife buys them when she finds a coupon.
Work: Johnston & Murphy Sneakers: Nike Then I have a whole collection of purple/yellow/orange shoes to match my purple/yellow/orange warm-up suits and matching caps.
I once had an endorsement deal with Reebok, so I still feel compelled to support their product when I wear sneaks. However, I am a shoe person and Kenneth Cole (NY) and Steve Madden seem to be my shoes of choice for the past few years.
I don't really care what shoe company I get shoes from. I just go into a shoe store, pick a shoe that looks good, try it on, and if it feels good and is also not expensive, I'm fine with it. My current pair are Nike though, and my school's basketball and track shoes were Nike, IIRC, so if I pick one, I guess it is them. I wear shoes for everything, from playing basketball to special events. I'll probably get more than one pair of shoes once I get a little older though, so I won't be wearing beat-up basketball shoes to an awards banquet.
athletic - new balance and puma sandals - rainbow or reef casual - rockport boatshoes and birkenstock clogs dress - bruno magli or mezlan
