    Hey undercover hiring manager, how 'bout a Social Security Number and current home address thread, too? :D

    -but alas, my ego compels me....

    Kroger - Sacker (2 months, it's odd to be 17, in high school, have no allowance or car, and still know you can do a lot better for yourself than mopping the women's bathroom, hauling carts for tips or receiving the occasional "smushed bread" diatribe)
    SWT Honors Summer Math Camp - Senior Counselor (6 wks)
    UH Office of Graduate and Research Studies - Office Assistant (Was told I'd be learning and updating a database, ended up moving boxes and shredding paper for 2-3 months, worst job I ever had)
    UT Houston Health Science Center - Summer Accounting Intern (8 wks)
    Howard Frazier Barker Elliot - Financial Analyst Intern (13 very rewarding and fufilling months with the smartest, most interesting twenty- and thirtysomethings I've ever known, was pretty heartbroken when I realized I wouldn't get a full-time position)
    Merrill Lynch - Sales Intern (2 very humbling, unpaid months of cold-calling at the Galleria Financial Center)
    Walgreen - Retail Management Trainee (easiest interview in the midst of my my soul-crushing senior year job search, two-and-a-half weeks until I got a better job, but was fully prepared to make a career of it after college)

    -Now I'm at an energy company that was once a division of a really big energy corporation, but was sold to another corp in the Midwest, and I moved with the job. 2nd generation energy industry (grew up in Baytown), but not nearly as fond of calculus or chemistry as my late engineer Dad.

    Oh Lord, haven't thought about some of this stuff in awhile, and using the criteria that if I got paid, it's a job:

    pre-16:

    yardwork for about 10 different houses in the 'hood - mow, pull weeds, spread mulch, plant plants, trim limbs, all that stuff;
    summers I did ranch work: built fence and a billion other little things.

    H.S, '92-93:

    Hungry's (Memorial & Kirkwood) - waiter & delivery guy, awesome job, huge walk-in beer cooler we could raid after closing;
    Roofing & cabinet work in the summers. Man that sucked.

    College Summers:

    Comerica Bank - Credit Dept. Assistant; Asst. in the Energy Lending Group

    Since College:

    Asst. Comptroller at a real estate firm
    IT Consultant: automated financial systems & a bunch o' other stuff (Thank you Y2K! Ka-Ching!)
    Project Manager & eventually CFO for a real estate investment & construction firm;
    Self employed real estate manager/investor;
    Bartender/Waiter/Sushi chef: Tamarindo, Costa Rica;
    Self employed real estate manager/consultant;
    Ranch Foreman: Blanco County, Texas;
    Contract employee for CPA firm (current);
    English teacher: Mar del Plata, Argentina (June).

    Junior High
    The Rat Trap, Stuttgart, Germany (1 summer) - Basically we kept the base clean...mowing, sweeping, painting, etc.
    Burger King, Stuttgart, Germany (1 summer) - Register, fries, burger board...I pretty much did it all.

    High School
    Burger King, Littleton, CO (1 year) - Did it all
    Burger King, Highlands Ranch, CO (2 years) - Did it all. My last year I was a Crew Leader as well.

    After High School
    Quiznos, El Paso, TX (1 year) - Crew Leader, but basically worked nights during the week.
    Burger King, Abilene, TX (2 months) - Crew Leader, left because they wouldn't let me work morning like I wanted.
    Wendy's, Abilene, TX (2.5 years) - Started off as the "maintenance opener" but after being there for about a year I was made a manager.
    Olive Garden, Lewisville, TX (6.25 years) - Started off as a server, after a year I both served and bartended, and for the past year I've been only bartending with a little training thrown in as well.
