lol.........my friend owns that place. The food is Chinese food. Not that great. Well I guess it's CASUAL! The one in Sugar Land on Highway 6 by Petco and Randall's is closed.... Pei Wei is a new one. It's all right too. A lot of people. Kinda hot. It's by SUPER TARGET!!!!! Fuddrucker's is great. Thai Spice is good. Chili's good. Ninfa's is good. IHOP is good. Subway is good. Outback Steakhouse is good. Actually...I like all food. I will eat anything...as long as it doesn't smell bad or look bad or rotten. Anything decent tastes good. All restaurants are good unless they are very crowded or have bad waiters.
For work....Sesame House in Dickinson For home.....Pappasittos in Webster If I'm going to drive into Houston just to eat casual.....Kanomwan
Hook me up with some free food and Ill share my basketball knowledge so you can post like a true pro. UT info and a history of Yankee stadium are extra.
I can't believe nobody mentioned Amazon Grill. It's now located on Kirby near Bissonett or thereabouts. It's Churrasco's on the cheap. Excellent South American style chicken, beef, veggies and seafood. typical plates are big and very reasonably priced $10-$12. you get a main meat item, plus south american rice and grilled veggies. Also, all eaters get to serve themselves as much salad as they want, with an awesome selection of dressing (creamy cilantro). The best part - all the fried plantain chips you can eat, with plenty dipping sauces. Two people can eat there for $30.
Thai Gourmet - When I'm at work Border Grill & Cantina - I go here about 3 or 4 nights a week. Great mexican food and margaritas.
It's basically somewhere in between Mexican fast food and Mexican sit-down food. Call it the Cafe Express of Mexican food (they are actually owned by the same people). It becomes more of a bar/social scene later in the evening. It's pretty solid.
I had the best BBQ chicken ever at Goode Co. Their jalapeno cheese bread rules! You must go sometime, grab a beer and a plate of BBQ and eat on the patio! for casual dining nothing beats Cafe Express. Really good, decent food, inexpensive and no tipping! While Taco Milagro is their sister restaurant, I just can't get into the food there... Other places I enjoy... Berryhill's, excellent fish tacos; Goode Co. Seafood, if you go get your fish mesquite grilled, you can get fried fish anywhere; La Mexicana, really good Mexican food. I could go on and on... happy eatin'
The Blue Plate, next to Eatsis (sp?) on post oak, across from the California Pizza Kitchen. Not very expensive and good food!
Oh man, I'm kinda angry I didn't there when I was in town in June. I used to eat there a lot; also gotta love Texadelphia across the strizeet.
