This. Bosh isn't the greatest defender but if he were paired with a real big man for a change he would be more effective. Bargnani represents everything I hate (well, hate to watch) about the Raptors.
It is not just Bargs, its their whole starting lineup, the only one hwo cares about D is a rookie. A lot of drives + Bosh being an average defender = Flamed on Clutchfans, "Not a franchise player" While on the other hand Landry scores 20 points = Better than Bosh, Allstar!
i think bosh showed what he had in the olympics, whne your teammates are soft, the team D sucks, well you cant do it all alone. On a team with players who actually try and hustle he'll maximize his talents.
Bosh needs to play alongside a tough, bruising center... not one who floats around on the perimeter and plays like a panzy in the post. Jack is severely underrated. He may be capable of playing both guard positions, but this doesn't mean he is less effective playing just as the primary PG. Jack >>> Calderon There's a reason the raptors have looked better defensively (still bad) since calderon went out.
Bosh would be spectacular here. You are kidding yourself if you think otherwise. Go watch the redeem team games and see how he outplays Howard.
