    Dude,

I don't flip flop, but I do change my views based upon observation and change.

I have always like Boki, and still do, I still think Langhi could have played if he got in the right type of system.

A lot of being a good role player in the NBA is getting with the right team at the right time.

    Craig Ehlo as an example.

hahah what a cop out of a statement. You know by saying that they're hall of fame coaches in your previous statement you were going by what he's done today. And the way van gundy coaches right now, his coaching style, he won't ever be a hall fo fame coach. He's too old school too be successful in today's game. Maybe if he was stuck in the 90's for 20 years then yeah he has a chance, but today's game has too much on individual athleticism for his coaching style. His NY Knick - wear them til they are bored - slow it down til 1 second left on the shot clock - style just plain doesn't work.

One of the biggest assets Rudy ever had was that he knew how to conform to the players not force them to conform to them. That's JVG's biggest downfall in my opinion. Rudy T was the idealistic players coach. He saw his players as a bunch of squares and blocks and instead of jamming those squares and blocks in circle holes (like our coach right now) he changed his game plan.

I'm sorry but i'm very biased right now. I hate the coach and I want him fired. His offensive schemes are terrible for the makeup of this team and instead of changing his strategy, he goes and gets old knick players that end up being injured and suck in general anyways. Trading boki hurts because I was a big fan of his but I would be okay with that if JVG gets canned.

Sorry, pardna but you're wrong. JVG has had a pretty good coaching career, however he's barely been coaching for 20 years, not quite yet 15 of those in the NBA. I think when all is said and done, he very well could be elected to the HOF.

Would he make it if he quit today? Maybe.

I don't agree with everything JVG does. His offensive schemes are painful to watch, but the guy is one hell of a defensive coach that has gotten mostly positive results from his teams since he began coaching. I'd rather have Rudy back, but that's a different thread.

I chose my words carefully. You should read them carefully and leave your personal feelings out of the discussion.

JVG would not even make the Hall of Shame of coaches.

    Get a grip people.

JVG is a decent coach, but his reputation is falling fast.

    HOF...ROFLMAO !!
