I was initially thinking we should move Gordon but the more I think about it we do need some veteran presence and he's one that has actually been a pretty good player in this league. So, he garners some respect from young guys. I could also see him being fine taking a lesser role.

I don't think it's fair to him to just let his contract expire this year and let him go without bird rights somewhere. If we won't keep him beyond this year we need to trade him.

We need a Small Forward, like Ben Simmons or Jalen Johnson from Atlanta. Tate is not a starting Small Forward he is good on defense but he is short and not a good shooter. He will hustle and work hard on defense but he should not start at all.

 

Jabari is better defender and rim protector than Banchero, but would not put his shot blocking prowess at even KJ level.

 

TF takes a step forward and two steps backwards. Silas is clearly an insecure coach. He needs help. The kids can't get better on their own.

 

Tari Eason can fulfill that role after a year as a SF/ PF.
