I have a weak analogy but what the heck:

In 04/05 Keith van horn got injured which was the turning point because he sucked for Dallas.

This time is AK47. I don't think after tonights game he will get any play time. If he doesn't play then it means more harpring and Giricek, which sucks for us. C'mon AK ask for more minutes.

If the Rockets just hit close to 40% of their shots they'll win.

The Rockets have to win. They can't afford to be complacent. A 3-0 series lead would be a big morale crusher for the opposing team.

Two years ago when we lost game 3, I knew we were in for a long series. Granted, I don't think this Utah team is quite as talented as the Dallas team from 2005, but they're a very hard-working, tough-nosed bunch who have a huge desire to win. If we don't win game 3, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if this series went to 7 games.

    Must Win! Go Rockets!

I think Jazz will continue to play hard on Tmac and Yao, and dare our role players to kill them. So I don't expect T-mac and Yao's FG% will significantly go up for game 3 as most of the defensive pressure will be on them, which means our role players are going to have a field day, like the one Chucky had last night.

The problem is that so far only Chucky has showed up in the first two games, with JH, Shane, Luther and Kirk nowhere to be seen.

So I say, come on guys, joining the firing squad and finish the job.

I predicted Houston in 6, and I see no reason to change that now.

I really think Utah is going to steal this one. The first two games have been slugfests in every meaning of the word. I'm pretty sure that the Rockets are tired enough to let their guard down. /Debbie Downer

But, if so, the Rockets are going to make a statement game and hammer Utah in Game 4.

I hope they prove me wrong and win Game 3.

The 3's will finally start to fall. Tmac is going to go off for 50. He is going to take game 3 personally because of what happened last time with Dallas. And I think we'll have even more intensity than either of the first two games. Look for us to get out to a fast start.

Rox will NOT come out complacent.

they have not forgotten what happened 2 years ago. Rox will play harder than they did in game 1 and 2.

It's almost impossible to shoot as badly as we did from the 3pt line. and this time, our bench will contribute something.

Like I said in another post, we need to make that building silent early. We should be able to hear one of the commentators fart.

My expectation is to have a chance to win at the end.

I'd like to take my chances with Tmac with an oppertunnity to win in the last seconds. I'd even take a 1 point deficit with the ball on the last possesion.

But if the Rockets are behind and don't have a realistic oppertunnity to win in the last 2 minutes I'll be dissappointed--that would be a real big confidence booster for the Jazz.

Our shooting was piss poor in Game 2, and Utah shot lights out, yet we still won. I expect we will blow Jazz out in Game 3.

This probably doesn't belong in this thread, but since you put that link up.. I am responding here.

What the heck difference does it make that Matt Harpring came from a football background??

So did Chuck, but they don't talk about it every time he does something on the court. And I would imagine only about 1/10th of the people on this board even knew he was a football player.

Very simple, administer the knock out punch. If the Rockets go up 3-0, it is over. Just a normal shooting percentage would be nice.
