    This is freaking awesome.

First of all, I'm just glad it's happening. Second, I already have tickets for that game AND it'll be against Shaq now...so he'll be there when they honor the one center he could never conquer.

    I love it.

Won't there be something in the HOF when Hakeem gets inducted that might be against muslim faith also? A plaque or his section in the HOF? Just wondering.

Will Hakeem be there at the game when they unveil it?

well deserved. he's the greatest houston athlete in my opinion. what he did in those 2 years were so memorable to most houston fans that you cannot think houston rockets without the dream.

the only thing i regretted for hakeem was that he couldn't finish his career in houston. :( .

i wish he would go to more houston games ;)

    you mean this? ;)

the admiral was a boy next to the dream as he just toyed with him. i have never seen one superstar just toying with another superstar like that. that is why he is so great. i wish our stars can do that when they face other superstars, just toy with them. too bad it rarely happens.

I always disliked that the Rockets could not put up a tribute to Hakeem, but I understood why.

However, this is great news. Heck, I'm going to just enjoy looking at it when I go into the Toyota Center for Rocket games.

This alone makes the All-Star break great. Excellent news all around.

I'm glad they are finally rectifying this glaring oversight on the Toyota Center.

This is long overdue, however it's good that it all worked out in a way that pleases everyone.
