LOL This is one of the funniest threads I've read in a long time. But hey, wolfpack has a nice ring to it. We should start calling them that when they press and trap and get their defense up in everyone's faces. The crowd can give wolf yells.

"Wolfpack" does have a nice ring to it. Let's just hope they don't start marking their territory like real wolves do though. It would really take the fun out of being the towel boy ("you expect me to towel those puddles up?!?!") [IMG]

Damn this has to be one of the funniest threads on this board ever!!!! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
I'm down with the crowd yelling like wolves though. That would be pretty cool....
3Pointer I think I would die laughing if Hakeem ever did that.

Those are wings guys. They only use them to land with after going strong to the hole. After all, as high as they fly, they would get hurt if they didn't have wings to ease their landing. The space shuttle is a Rocket & it has wings, so why shouldn't they? [IMG]

This "wolfpack" thing,..it's sorta like the headbands that they were sporting last season.. my guess, is that they might be able to integrate the two, so that they're wearing these headbands with wolf ears on 'em!

    Bullwinkle = Steve Francis
Rocky The Flying Squirrel = Cuttino Mobley

They also wear one another's wrist bands, headbands, etc ... . Hey, it's a guy- bonding thing!

Do they also switch out wearing *other* things? If so, maybe there's a bigger reason that Cat chose to stay...

Actually the sigh that he is doing is similar to the one that "Omega Psi Phi" does. It is not a street thing it's a symbol for a Black Faternity.

The same Fraternity that Shaq and Jordon are a part of.

I absolutely love this wolf pack thing! (it kinda reminds me of the Denver Broncos' "no limit soldiers" salute of a couple years ago - except this one looks sillier) It's really encouraging to see them get excited about playing defense. Hell, anything that gets these guys to focus on defense has GOT to be a good thing!

I, too, would laugh my ass off if I saw Dream doing it. I hope he does.

I also get a kick out of Rudy T bonding with his players - returning the wolf-ears salute. Remember "Kapaya"? Rudy's such an excitable guy.

I like the wolf-howl idea too...just hope when the T-wolves are in town they dont assume it's meant to cheer them on.. [IMG]

I doubt Dream would do that, considering the NC State (Wolfpack) game in college wasn't one of his fondest memories. I still have nightmares...

I hope Jim Rome didn't see that because that will just give him a topic for his weak show.
"Lack of Sportsmanship" I think what he did was awesome but alot of people won't get a kick out of that when the season starts. Mainly the media. So keep doing it Steve.

Actually, if you're talking about the NFL thing where the players place the backs of their hands (fingers closed together) against each temple, it has something to do with an airplane or jet metaphor

Speaking of Hakeem giving the wolf pack sign, would we have thought that Rudy would be doing it? If it can catch on, watch Hakeem will be doing it also.
