why isn't rafer starting? Not that it's a bad thing, but I was just wondering what was going on. I don't even see him on the bench at the moment.
<a href="http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w225/qqdragonqq/?action=view¤t=Rafer.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w225/qqdragonqq/Rafer.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> Becaude he's NOT.
I bet after tonights blowout, there will be numerous threads about how we are better w/o Rafer....SMH..watch and see
I don't doubt this for a minute but this may be one of those things where all those threads might be right. Not saying they are just might be.
Brooks too short to be a starter for a future contending western team. Rafer is too inconsistent to be one either. Maybe Morey cab pull one out of the hat from Europe.
I've been on Rafers side the entire season, so much that i got downgraded for argueing about it lol... With out him i dont think we would have won 22 in a row
Does this website really work that way? IF so, that's so ridiculous...haha you got downgraded for that? Funny. But rafer is really too inconsistent to be start pg for a contender. It shouldn't even be argued. We need an offensive point guard imo. T-Mac can do the assists, too.
He really took his oppurtunity tonight! I want to see him start tomorrow. Come on, we're playing the Sonics.
April 4, 2008, 1:08AM ROCKETS NOTES Injury sidelines Alston By JONATHAN FEIGEN Copyright 2008 Houston Chronicle Rockets guard Rafer Alston was held out of Thursday's game with a sore left hamstring and is doubtful to play tonight in Seattle. Alston has been treating the injury for about two weeks, but it got worse in the past three days. "Midway through the Sacramento game, I felt a twinge in there, so I felt it was about time I let it rest and let it heal," Alston said. "I don't want to do anything so severe it knocks me out for the playoffs. "We'll see how it goes, how it responds to the treatment." Bobby Jackson got his first start for the Rockets and just his 18th in the past five seasons. Aaron Brooks, who had not played in the previous five games, was moved from the inactive list. "Bobby has not started in a while (since two starts last season), and Aaron has to step in," coach Rick Adelman said. "It's going to put a real hit on us." http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/5673882.html
The good news is he won't play against Seattle. The bad news is that he's planning to be back in time for the playoffs
