I believe Schaub's play is direct correlation to Kubs horrible play calling and management of the game...its true the line looks pathetic at times, but someone needs to step up...

He's not the problem, the offensive line is.

Really? nobody does, that's why the line has to be able to protect. Do you remember PAYTON when he would face the Patriot's Defense during the early and mid 2000s? Does Cut that meat..Cut that meat ring a bell?

this is the type of expert analysis i expected from the guy who recommended that the texans need to score more points than the opponent in order to win.

Question: Have the Texans run a hurry up offense in the Kubiak Era?

yeah, When there is less than a minute left before halftime they "hurry up" and get to the line of scrimmage and take a knee to end the half.

run the freakin ball last night and we would have been fine. pick 6 was on first down..

im sure they'll try to establish the run against the good rushing defenses

Clearly no one does, but Peyton got hit and he still stood strong.

Schaub gets rattled too easily, whenever he gets some hits on him he starts to panic.....that is my biggest beef with the guy overall.

Peyton got hit one time. And it was after he has already passed the ball

Part of the problem is he is throwing on the run WAY too much because of all the rollouts. These plays will work from time to time but often times he ends up having to just throw it away and completely waste a crucial down, when we could be running the ball and getting ourselves manageable 3rd downs.

I think the coaches are scared to leave him in the pocket so much against some teams, like last night, because he was getting hit. But some of his best play has come from avoiding the rush while in the pocket and stepping up to find an open receiver.

He was sacked 5 times @ Washington. He stayed in the game to throw for nearly 500 yards and engineered a fantastic second half comeback.

DD...there are real, honest criticisms of Schaub...but this isn't one of them. After that game @ Washington, the defensive linemen for the 'Skins were quoted as saying that usually when they get kinda pressure on a QB, he falters and starts running scared..but that Schaub never did.

The pass protection hasn't been as good this year. Owen Daniels isn't 100%. I would say those are the 2 biggest factors.

Its pass protection and poor playcalling. He is rushed almost every play and the bootlegs being called are just stupid. It is being done too much and only done with a single reciever, so if dre isn't open, schaub has to throw it away

Just stop posting in here, you are so far off base. And it is a well known fact that the ONLY way to rattle Manning is by knocking him on his ass. He gets visibly upset and starts blaming teammates. That is well documented

God, DD. We keep giving you the benefit of the doubt, and you keep flushing it completely down the toilet.
