Any of you new yorkers got the heads up on mcD? Is there a possibility that he will play this year or is his career over?

I watched parts of the Knicks-Jazz game tonight on League Pass preview, and for the most part no one really knows how McDyess will perform this year.
The other announcer (not Frazier, who by the way is worse than Calvin anyday) suggested the Knicks' success was hinged upon McDyess and how he performs. He did not suit up for their last preseason game, but hopefully he can add some excitement to any and all of those Knick games that will be on national TV.

like grant hill, he just needs to give up any hope of having a meaningful basketball career. i dont know his #'s, but id bet that he has missed two times more games than he has even played. his bones must be made of styrofoam or something.

new york was stupid for trading for him. he will never give them anything on the court. didnt they trade that nene guy for him?

McDyess hasn't missed that many games, he actually played 70 two years ago.

However, he is definitely injury prone.
